Photographer and passionate streetart hunter Agnieszka Pisarska continuously delivers fantastic works of urban art on her Instagram channel Piece of Streetart, not only from her hometown of Wroc?aw, but from all over Poland. There are now more than 1500 photos in her archive, it’s worth taking a look! The eager art lover is constantly on the move and, according to her own words, does “always many things at once.” And when a lot is done, a lot of interesting things are created. Here on the Vagabundler platform, Angnieszka not only works on the Streetart Map Wroc?aw, but also contributes galleries to many Polish cities and countless photos for the maps of Gda?sk, ?ód? and Warsaw. She has several other platforms and accounts about architecture and nature, does interesting collages and designs fabulous selfmade puppets.

Today we are going to introduce you to a terrific website that had a great impact on me and basically was together with some other important platforms and magazines an inspiring factor to start this Vagabundler project. For more than ten years now, the platform Dosenkunst by photographer Jörg Rudolph has been delivering fantastic graffiti material from the Rhine-Main area in Germany or from overseas, with awesome making-of reports, extensive background information and adventurous Urbex stories.

The Kulturkvarter Snösätra with its Graffiti Wall of Fame was one of the greates open art galleries in Europe, unfortunately it has been torn down in September 2020, but here in our archive are a lot of photos of the great works on this former awesome colorful lost place. The streetart hot spot was located in the remote south of Stockholm in a disused industrial park near Rågsved. This building complex lay fallow for years and gradually fell apart. It was a small deserted ghost town that was avoided. But that should change completely. In 2014, a group was able to convince the landowners that certain walls can be painted. This started a transformation of this area into one of the largest graffiti exhibitions in Europe.

The sculptor Pit Ruge designs fantastic creatures and entire wonderful worlds of wood, wire and color in his open-air workshop “Waldwerft. ” For the huge and famous pumpkin exhibitions, which have been taking place for over twenty years now throughout Germany, he and a team of artists fabricate the complete thematic scenarios including figures, which are then hung with pumpkins. The creative factory also produces works of art for countless other events, exhibitions and festivals.

Religion plays an important role in Maltese culture and tradition. There are over 360 chapels and churches throughout the archipelago, including the huge Carmelite Cathedral in Valletta and the great Ta’ Pinu Basilica in Gozo for example. The presence of faith is also evident in the streets and integrated onto the homes of the Maltese people in form of small plaques, figures and ornaments depicting saints and thus acting as the patron saint of the building. Many Maltese also give their houses their individual names, so you often find among these door saints also tiles or signs with the building names. The Teufelsberg Domecast is a podcast series with ambient experimental live performances using the Dome at the top of Teufelsberg in Berlin as a natural parabolic reverb. Their mission is to gather hand picked artists with a deep interest for music experimentation in their distinctive musical background and they look for artists who are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of frequencies and putting the dome to the test of sound. Milau Lutumba aka Delutu is a passionate reporter, photographer and réalisateur from Paris, the wonderful capital of France. On his Instagram channel he provides nearly daily new super amazing artworks, mostly from his city, but also from other exciting places in France. As well he runs an interesting Facebook account and a recommendable Youtube channel with heaps of interviews and reportages. This guy is excitingly busy and provides really good stuff! Definitely worth to look at! Here on the Vagabundler website Milau is building up the Streetart Map of Paris with wonderful creations from the city of the Eiffel Tower on the river Seine.
