ITALY: Streetart Florence – Firenze Paste Ups, Sign Art, Stencils & Sticker Collection

Here we have a beautiful collection of small-format urban artworks in the capital of the Italian Tuscany region. Florence is best known for its numerous Renaissance masterpieces of art and architecture. One of the most famous sights is the Duomo Cathedral with its dome by the legendary master builder BRUNELLESCHI and a bell tower by the famous GIOTTO. The Galleria dell’Accademia displays MICHELANGELO‘s statue “David”, while BOTTICELLI‘s painting “The Birth of Venus” and LEONARDO DA VINCI‘s “The Annunciation” can be found in the Galleria degli Uffizi. But also on the street you can find great artworks which are at least on the same level!

ITALY: Milan & Venice – Hip Hop Project since 1997 and Graffiti Artist SAT – Arcano2 Magazine

The Arcano2 Magazine is a great publication from Milan and Venice that has been providing photos, reports and interviews from the world of hip hop and everything that goes with it. At regular intervals since 1997 they give an fantastic insight to graffiti, breakdancing and rapping especially from Northern Italy, but also from all around the globe. Initially launched as Arcano Revue and with the first volume in black and white, 12 issues have now been published, meanwhile each with 218 pages and 6 posters in glossy and color. The Navigli district, with its two famous canals Naviglio Grande and Naviglio Pavese, is located in the center of Milan and is known for its many creative art galleries, hip second-hand stores and trendy clubs. The Mercato di Viale Papiniano flea market and the monthly Mercatone dell’Antiquariato antiques mart are also particularly popular. “Navigli” is the name of all the numerous typical canals in and around Milan, so it basically is the canal district. Along those idyllic waterways and around the quaint alleys, there are of course plenty of colorful urban works of art.

The works of the Italian artist Claudio Parentela from Catanzaro are basically a creative combination of a multitude of works of art. In turn, he often created these parts individually himself. ITALY: Art Project Turin – “Spazio Portici – Creative Paths” – Open Call till 4th April for 2022 Edition

“Spazio Portici – Creative Paths” is a project of the City of Turin, Creative Turin and the Contrada Torino Onlus Foundation. The goal is to open spaces for artistic expression under the arcades of the city, focusing attention on the enhancement of creativity with a particular focus on youth. Along the 12 kilometers of arcades will develop over time installations, exhibitions, temporary exhibitions, artistic happenings in order to create a traveling visual path that will help give new life to the arches and to value creativity. ITALY: Streetart Turin – Museo Egizio – 60 Graphic Days Artists at the Exhibition ABRACADABRA

A “green magic” project conceived and promoted by Graphic Days® with the aim of donating new trees to the Turin area. 60 illustrators, Italian and foreign, have joined “Abracadabra” by offering their works. You can buy your illustration, or make a donation: the proceeds will be donated to the “Give a tree” initiative of the City of Turin. Therefore the great artworks were presented from September 2021 till January 2022 at the Museo Egizio.
