Here we have a beautiful collection of small-format urban artworks in the capital of the Italian Tuscany region. Florence is best known for its numerous Renaissance masterpieces of art and architecture. One of the most famous sights is the Duomo Cathedral with its dome by the legendary master builder BRUNELLESCHI and a bell tower by the famous GIOTTO. The Galleria dell’Accademia displays MICHELANGELO‘s statue “David”, while BOTTICELLI‘s painting “The Birth of Venus” and LEONARDO DA VINCI‘s “The Annunciation” can be found in the Galleria degli Uffizi. But also on the street you can find great artworks which are at least on the same level! Especially the traffic sign-altering works by local artist CLET are particularly interesting and always worth a smile.
