18. August 2025Opposite the church “L’Oratorio San Paolo Apostolo” in Turin there is a soccer field and basketball court surrounded by a long wall. Great graffiti gets often created there, and colorful events are held. In 2019 the artists KARIM and ZULI from the cultural association LARGE MOTIVE, in collaboration with the TORINO 27 scout group and L’Oratorio San Paolo Apostolo, organized the fantastic SAN PAOLO STREET JAM, where amazing works were created. 1. August 2025Corso Bramante is a wide, busy road that runs through Turin from the river Po in the east to Corso Unione Sovietica in the west. In the San Salvario district, at the height of Parco Muratori, the street complex runs over a large bridge over many railway lines. There is a long slope with large concrete walls on both sides, and the underpass of Via Zino Zini to the west and the underpass of Via Bartolomeo Bona to the east till its end and then the graffiti walls continue along the train track walls. The entire area is a spray oasis and full of grandiose works. 11. April 2025On the weekend of May 8th and 9th in 2021, the great URBAN JAM took place in Turin with three spray locations, 30 artists and 200 meters of running wall painted with bright colors and in a wide variety of styles. One location was Via Giacomo Dina, a second one was the large Hall of Fame at Parco Dora and another spot was at Corso Regina, where a special „Abstract vs Lettering“ action took place. März 2025In Borgo San Paolo on the north-eastern side of Parco Braccini and along the two streets Via Gabriele D’Annunzio and Via Spalato, they pass directly along the park, there is a fantastic urban art paradise and graffiti hall of fame. On either side of both streets are long concrete walls, which are filled with cool pieces. An awesome spray space area, and it’s quite huge! 16. Februar 2025In October 2018 various graffiti artists from around the city came together to create a great collaboration tribute wall for the legendary sprayer NAPE, who died in 2018. The event with dedicated memorandum artworks took place as a MURARTE CLOSING PARTY and was organized by the creative collectives IL CERCHIO E LE GOCCE and MONKEYS EVOLUTION. Januar 2025The Torino Stura Railway Station, or in Italian Stazione di Torino Stura, is located on the Corso Romania and besides the public transportation it is also a fantastic urban art gallery. 24. Juli 2024Here we have a beautiful collection of small-format urban artworks in the capital of the Italian Tuscany region. Florence is best known for its numerous Renaissance masterpieces of art and architecture. One of the most famous sights is the Duomo Cathedral with its dome by the legendary master builder BRUNELLESCHI and a bell tower by the famous GIOTTO. The Galleria dell’Accademia displays MICHELANGELO‘s statue “David”, while BOTTICELLI‘s painting “The Birth of Venus” and LEONARDO DA VINCI‘s “The Annunciation” can be found in the Galleria degli Uffizi. At regular intervals since 1997 they give an fantastic insight to graffiti, breakdancing and rapping especially from Northern Italy, but also from all around the globe. Initially launched as Arcano Revue and with the first volume in black and white, 12 issues have now been published, meanwhile each with 218 pages and 6 posters in glossy and color. 24. März 2022„Spazio Portici – Creative Paths“ is a project of the City of Turin, Creative Turin and the Contrada Torino Onlus Foundation. The goal is to open spaces for artistic expression under the arcades of the city, focusing attention on the enhancement of creativity with a particular focus on youth. Along the 12 kilometers of arcades will develop over time installations, exhibitions, temporary exhibitions, artistic happenings in order to create a traveling visual path that will help give new life to the arches and to value creativity. März 2022A “green magic” project conceived and promoted by Graphic Days® with the aim of donating new trees to the Turin area. 60 illustrators, Italian and foreign, have joined “Abracadabra” by offering their works. You can buy your illustration, or make a donation: the proceeds will be donated to the “Give a tree” initiative of the City of Turin. November 2021During the visual design festival „Graphic Days“, which took place in Turin from September 16th till 26th in 2021, local artists, studios, galleries and creative spaces opened their premises with interesting exhibitions as part of the festival section „In the city“. A calendar of free events spread throughout Turin. One station was „THE CHAMBER“ by the collective IL CERCHIO E LE GOCCE. 2. September 2021In June 2021 the fantastic exhibition “Streetart in Blu 3” opened its doors in the Teatro Colosseo with artworks from the famous leading urban artists BANKSY, BLU and ROBERT DEL NAJA aka 3D. The show rooms of the contemporary and alternative art museum at Via Madame Cristina 71 in Turin were peppered with magnificent creations made by those three masterminds. On information boards or on digital and audiovisual info screens, visitors were able to find out about the backgrounds of the works and makers. Additionally they showed an exciting interview with gallerist Steve Lazarides made by Andrea Olcese for the famous magazine Artibune. As a child with a strong creative vein, he began by making monsters with LEGO bricks and drawing on the walls of his bedroom. Digital Artist Luigi Savoia – Origami, Fractals, Cubes and Escher

Symmetry and geometric shapes, luminous fractals and colourful origami. These are the themes that digital artist and creative designer Luigi Savoia deals with in a just stunning way. To observe his works is simply impressive, especially because he himself is naturally completely fascinated by them and presents his creations with a beautiful concept. Luigi came to the Vagabundler Project via urban art and through the graffiti documentation. He is currently working on the Streetart Map of Turin. But after some communication it turned out that besides his great Instagram channel to streetart, he is also a very inspired person in many other areas and creates beautiful objects. There will be another article on Luigi about his streetart content, but here we are going to focus in an interview on his cubic structures and the luminous installations, in the spirit of the famous artist Escher.

Messina – Distrart Mural Project – Sicily Graffiti and Urban Art

Messina is a port city in the north-east of the Italian island of Sicily, separated from the Italian mainland by the Strait of Messina. Worth seeing are the Norman cathedral with its astronomical clock from the 15th century, the Fontana di Orione or the Neptune Fountain. Nearby is Mount Etna, the highest volcano in Europe, as well as numerous ancient Greek ruins and medieval churches. Of course, you will also find urban art in the streets.
