ARGENTINA: Streetart San Fernando – PAF – Paseo Festival – Awesome Urban Art Event

At the end of 2022, the long term urban art festival called “Paseo Festival San Fernando” a.k.a. PAF started to color up the city, promoted by the district municipality of Buenos Aires and organized by the prestigious artist SEBA CENER. A lot of artworks already have been finished and many more are going to come. Check out the fantastic creations and there is also a cool video included.

ARGENTINA: Streetart Buenos Aires – Parque Alberdi – Mataderos Skate Park – Sports & Graffiti

In 2007 a group of local skaters started a movement to have their own space to practice their passion. They presented a project to the local municipality, and in 2011, a mega skate park was inaugurated in the Mataderos neighborhood of Buenos Aires! The design was created by specialized architects, and the construction was supervised by the Argentine Skateboarding Association. Besides the sports fun there are numerous fantastic graffiti and urban artworks around the area.

Creative and passionate, Buenos Aires-based artist Murdock Allen is what you might call a traveling artist. He has already traveled the whole world and painted his works in the most unusual places in front of the viewer’s eyes. The art is always there. Murdock is concerned with bringing creativity directly to the people and also involving them. His paintings are fantastic and show utopian worlds of tomorrow in an abstract, infantile and comic-like style.

ARGENTINA: Streetart Buenos Aires – Tribute to footbal legend Diego Armando Maradona

Diego Armando Maradona Franco was an Argentine football player and coach. He is one of the “legends of world football” and is considered one of the best football players in history. Already as a younger player he was called “El Pibe de Oro” – “The golden Boy”. In his career Maradona took part in four World Cup tournaments in 1982, 1986, 1990 and 1994. Altogether the footballist scored 34 goals in 91 international matches. Maradona died on November 25th 2020 in Dique Luján in Argentina. This page is dedicated to the great athlete and shows numerous artworks that have been created as tributes and homages to honorable Maradona across the city of Buenos Aires.

ARGENTINA: Streetart Buenos Aires – Tribute to Gustavo Cerati at Avenida Francisco Beiró by Marco Heis

The highway construction in low level, “El Paso Bajo”, carried out on Francisco Beiró Avenue and the Urquiza railroad tracks in Buenos Aires, has four traffic lanes, two by hand, and a pedestrian crossing. This traffic complex was baptized Gustavo Cerati and therefore painted by artist MARCO HEIS with wonderful images of the famous singer. After a vote in which 177,594 residents participated, 68,438 chose to honor Gustavo Cerati, the late leader of Soda Stereo, while that 60,247 favored Carlitos Balá, and 48,909 did so for Julio Cortázar.

ARGENTINA: Streetart Buenos Aires – Paso Nazca Homage to Gilda, Guinzburg, Calabró and Mores

A huge fantastic mural in homage to Gilda, Guinzburg, Calabró and Mores at the Paso Bajo Level of Avenida Nazca displays images on its walls to remember these four illustrious neighbors of Commune 11. The enormous artwork was created in 2018. Gilda, Jorge Guinzburg, Juan Carlos Calabró and Mariano Mores lived in Commune 11. They were popular icons that stood out in different disciplines and the city of Buenos Aires wanted to pay tribute to them with this mural painted on the walls of one of the most important works from the neighborhood: the Paso Bajo Nivel on Nazca Avenue and the San Martín railroad tracks.

ARGENTINA: Photographer Analía Pertusi – Perts Jam – Streetart Map Buenos Aires

The photographer and streetart hunter Analía Pertusi not only lives in the city of good air called Buenos Aires, but also photographs and documents this fantastic good air atmosphere in a very creative and loving way. A few years ago she started her Instagram channel under the pseudonym Perts Jam, where you can regularly receive interesting streetart and graffiti content. Analía has a good eye for beauty, but at the same time she is a superb documenter and sees the overall picture. For the Vagabundler Project she works on the Streetart Map Buenos Aires and also contributes galleries and articles from places all over Argentina.
