From 5th of May till 4th of June 2021 you can admire a new great collaboration artwork made by four local creatives in the Berlin district Friedrichshain close to the Postbahnhof. The artists Anne ‚Blondie‘ Bengard and Caro Pepe painted two beautiful characters and the artists Fabifa and LaMia made as well two characters with their special tape techniques. The project is part of the campaign „Brave Together“ curated by Book a Street Artist and Basa Studio.

On the island of Malta in the neighbourhood Msida we found an interesting graffiti area. If you walk through a small tunnel on the north side of the Msida Skate Park, you don’t get out directly on one of the other sides of the road. There is again an open space, from where the paths branch out again and lead into further tunnels. The entire walls of this small plaza are of course all painted and frequently there apear new fantastic ones. Check out the photos of the great artworks we captured at this hidden little art space.

In 2020 on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the opening of the National Cinema Museum at the Mole Antonelliana and the birth of the Turin Piedmont Film Commission, the Piedmontese capital was the ‚City of Cinema‘. At 20 installations throughout Turin you could admire the remarkable and famous movies created between 1914 and 2020 with their filmsets in the local streets. The STADTPIRATEN curated an exhibition in the gallery of the social fund of the Berlin construction industry which is located in the Lück Street 72 in the district Lichtenberg. The event took place from 19th March till 28th March in 2021. Here are the several fantastic creations sorted by artists. “Stadtpiraten” would mean in English “City Pirates”. During this great event visitors could admire the artworks from Anne Baerlin, Autark, Bibo, Caz.l, Coky One, Ducks Between Chucks, Gomez, Hoya, JMS, Kiezmiez, Lacuna, Niko, Opiemme, Textile Street Art, Wake Yakuza and Zonenkinder.

Turin became a large open-air museum with 18 works of urban art inspired by the United Nations 2030 agenda. This is “Toward 2030, What are you doing?”. The initiative involved 18 international street artists who have created in 2018 and 2019 altogether 18 various places in the city with fantastic murals. 18 urban artworks corresponding to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals plus one by Lavazza (Goal Zero) designed to amplify and disseminate the United Nations 2030 Agenda more effectively. The artists of three Turin collectives have collaborated for this project: Il Cerchio e le Gocce, Monkeys Evolution and Truly Urban Artists.

Parco Dora is an huge inner-city park in Turin in the Piedmont region in Northern Italy. Until the 1990s the park was an industrial area of ??450,000 square meters and centrally located on the Dora Riparia River. The meanwhile cleared parts were partially greened or rededicated to event areas, which has now 90,000 square meters and is also called the Area Vitali. The entire space is a spray hot spot and great graffiti and streetart get painted every day. It is Turin’s biggest Hall of Fame. Here is a gallery of the fantastic artworks sorted by numerous artist.

The Graffiti Zone at the Berlin Mauerpark is an open spray area on the former east-west border in the district Prenzlauer Berg. The spot is very busy and fantastic pieces get painted here every day. They are often only visible for a short time because continously new artworks appear on top of the older ones. The creative urban artist ALEX G. has been a graffiti sprayer in the Russian capital Moscow for more than ten years now. Under his artist name GARICK, he is a member of the fabulous CREW TEAM and has also participated in a variety of festivals and jams such as the „Clean Energy“, the „Rhythm of my City“ or the „Gamma Art Weekend“. In an interview he told us about his art and how it is to spray graffiti in Moscow.

Symmetry and geometric shapes, luminous fractals and colourful origami. These are the themes that digital artist and creative designer Luigi Savoia deals with in a just stunning way. To observe his works is simply impressive, especially because he himself is naturally completely fascinated by them and presents his creations with a beautiful concept. Luigi came to the Vagabundler Project via urban art and through the graffiti documentation. He is currently working on the Streetart Map of Turin. But after some communication it turned out that besides his great Instagram channel to streetart, he is also a very inspired person in many other areas and creates beautiful objects. There will be another article on Luigi about his streetart content, but here we are going to focus in an interview on his cubic structures and the luminous installations, in the spirit of the famous artist Escher.

Aberystwyth ist just a really lovely, cute place, full of young people from all over the European Union because of its famous university, which looks like Hogward from the Harry Potter movies. The little refuge is a brilliant destination, if you want to calm down and rest for a while in a chilled area. Close to Aberystwyth is also the small picturesque town of Borth which sits above a vast beach where you feel as if suspended between heaven and earth, between the past and the present.
