GERMANY: Streetart Frankfurt – Character Jam 2026 – Jugendhaus am Bügel

From 9th till 10th May in 2026, the great CHARACTER JAM took place again at the JUGENDHAUS AM BÜGEL, this time it was the 14th edition of this fantastic event, where several artists redesign and color up the building complex and surrounding facades. This time, the pieces weren’t done on the stage, but instead the entire front building was decorated with a great concept wall by the BORN CREW and KWG CREW aka KIDS WITH GUNZ, also the backyard wall adorns now a collab by the TIF CREW aka THE INFAMOUS FACES, and the youth center has now a new large mural facing the sports field made by EMESA and HERA.

NEPAL: Lalitpur – Streetart Kupondole – Graffiti and Urban Art Collection

Kundopole is a densely built neighborhood in the northern part of Lalitpur and is considered a local residential and commercial area outside the main tourist hubs. In the streets you can encounter interesting urban artworks of various forms; especially the SATTYA MEDIA ARTS COLLECTIVE created two of its works here as part of the KOLOR KATHMANDU project and also several walls were painted by the former ART LAB collective, which meanwhile no longer exists anymore, but the involved artists have formed new crews such as TAG THEORY or the KOR ARTS COLLECTIVE

AUSTRALIA: Brisbane Street Art Festival – BSAF – Awesome Annual Urban Art Event since 2016

The fantastic BRISBANE STREET ART FESTIVAL, or BSAF for short, was founded in 2016 and is now one of Australia’s leading public art events. Every year, the festival transforms building facades, underpasses, and public spaces throughout the city into large-scale murals and installations. Since its inception, over 400 works of art have been created by local, national, and international artists. The program includes live murals, exhibitions, workshops, artist talks, and community projects. In 2025, the BSAF celebrated its 10th anniversary.

NICARAGUA: Streetart San José del Sur – Graffiti and Urban Art Collection

San José del Sur is a small rural village with approximately 1.000 inhabitants in the southeast of Ometepe Island. Historically, the village is one of the many small settlements that developed on Ometepe in pre-Hispanic times. As well San José del Sur offers a picturesque location on the shores of Lake Nicaragua with views of the Maderas volcano and other landscapes on the island. And naturally beautiful art can also be found here in the streets and on the walls of the houses.

TAIWAN: Taipei – Streetart Ximending – Cinema Park, America Street & Tattoo Street

Ximending is one of Taipei’s most vibrant neighborhoods, known for its youthful atmosphere, trendy shopping streets, entertainment, and famous Taiwanese street food and the numerous murals and urban artworks. The highlights include America Street, famous for its graffiti, sneaker shops, and hip-hop culture; Cinema Park and Tattoo Street, known for its tattoo studios, alternative fashion, and creative atmosphere. Creative local groups, especially the CITYMARX collective, contribute with murals to the artistic and contemporary identity of the area.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Moabit – 21er GALLERY – ANTI RACISM JAM 2026

In March it was time again for the annual ANTI RACISM JAM in Moabit at the spraygrounds of the 21ER GALLERY with more than 50 creators. Every year the popular jam brings top-class artists to the walls with fantastic concept collaborations to make a colorful statement against racism and discrimination. The event from 25th till 28th March 2026 took place at six locations, namely at the large Concept Wall, at the Hamberger Wall, at the Union Sports Hall, at the Union Park, around the “Center for Art and Urbanism” (ZK/U) and at the Theodor Heuss School.

ETHIOPIA: Painting, Sculptures & Collages – YABSRA AYELE from Addis Ababa

The fantastic artist YABSRA AYELE from the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa works across multiple disciplines, combining various materials and techniques. It’s hard to categorize him because he does everything from canvases to wood or metal, including sculptures, and he combines all these materials, piecing them together into a new collage. Beneath the surface and behind the scenes, there are always deeper underlying themes and socially critical messages. In an interview with the artist, we talked about his background, the development as a creative person, and his numerous ideas. He describes his techniques and role models to us and offers art enthusiasts a glimpse into the art scene of Addis Ababa.

AUSTRALIA: Perth – Wolf Lane Urban Art Quarter – Form Public Project 2014 – Graffiti, Streetart & Murals

The Wolf Lane in Perth was originally an unremarkable back alley used primarily for delivery traffic and waste disposal. The first renovations began around 2001, when the city sought to revitalize the lane and better integrate it into the city center. A decisive transformation began in 2014 with the urban art project PUBLIC by FORM, in which the alley’s walls were adorned with large-scale murals by international and local artists. As a result, Wolf Lane evolved from a functional back alley into a well-known creative hotspot in the city center.

BRAZIL: Streetart Recife – Urban Art and Graffiti in the Pernambuco Capital

Recife is a major coastal city in northeastern Brazil and the capital of the state of Pernambuco, with a population of over 1.6 million inhabitants. Founded in 1537, Recife developed as an important colonial port, especially during the period of Dutch rule in the 17th century, which left lasting architectural and cultural influences on the city. Its network of rivers, bridges, and islands has earned it the nickname “Brazilian Venice”. THAILAND: Streetart Khon Kaen – The Wall & Kultx – Creative Spaces & Urban Art Spots

In this article we present you two colorful places you should definitely visit when you are coming to Khon Kaen. The creative space THE WALL is a small neighbourhood village in the heart of the city, renovated from a former pharmaceutical factory and printing house, and the surrounding walls are covered with beautiful murals and facade paintings. Another great creative location in Khon Kaen is the collaborative art space KULTX. The purpose of its establishment is to encourage the community in Khon Kaen to participate in community art and culture. There are various art exhibitions and numerous activities organized regularly.
