NEW ZEALAND: Streetart Whangārei – Street Prints Manaia Festival – Tuia te muka Tāngata

Whangārei is a city on the North Island of New Zealand, the Northland or Te Ika-a-Māui in the original language. The city has around 45.000 inhabitants and is the administrative headquarters of the district. You can find fantastic artworks in the urban space and especially in January 2019 some of the world’s best urban artists took part in the international art festival Street Prints Manaia. Another great streetart project is the Te Oranga jam.

CYPRUS: Streetart Limassol – Ypsonas Industrial Zone – Alexandrias Parking – ZOGRAFF JAM SPACE

Located in the Ypsonas Industrial Zone north of Limassol you can find a huge parking lot called Alexandrias. Bikers meet regularly on the large concrete area to do tricks or gather for rides. In 2022, also the fourth edition of the grandiose ZOGRAFF GRAFFITI JAM took place here and the more than 150 meter long surrounding walls were painted with a lot of hip hop, art and party. The writers received support from BIKE MAFIA CYPRUS and KOUMBARIS PAINTWORKS.

PERU: Streetart Lima – Graffiti and Urban Art in the Peruvian capital

The Pacific coast city of Lima is the capital of the South American Andean state of Peru and, with around 8.5 million inhabitants, by far the largest city in the country. It is an important transport hub and the bustling metropolis has a well-preserved center from the colonial era with numerous universities, colleges, museums and monuments. The old town of Lima was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991. However, also modern cultural heritage can be found in the streets in the form of fantastic graffiti and streetart.

CANADA: Streetart Montréal – Vieux-Rosemont – Canettes de Ruelle – Urban Art Festival – 7th Edition 2023

In 2023 the fantastic urban art festival CANETTES DE RUELLE took place for the 7th time in Montréal. On September 2nd, 3rd and 4th more than 50 artists created fabulous artworks around the Vieux-Rosemont district and beautified the neighborhood. SWEDEN: Tattoo and Graffiti Artist TONY B – Unikum Studio – Characters, Anime and New School

The Swedish artist TONY B started with drawing on paper, followed by painting on human skin as a tattoo artist and finally also creating on walls as a graffiti sprayer. In Gothenburg he runs the magnificent tattoo studio UNIKUM with a team of six other great tattooers. His love is with the body decorations, but he kept on doing all of the other connected art genres too, so it is drawing, illustrations, tattoos and wall paintings. Check out the interview!

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Hellersdorf – Marktplatzcenter – Kunsttage – Urban Art Exhibition

From October 16th till November 11th in 2023, the great urban art exhibition KUNSTTAGE took place in the Marktplatzcenter in Berlin’s Hellersdorf district. “Kunsttage” means “Art Days” in English. The event was organized by STEREOHEAT and SKENAR 73 together with the art agency FRAMELESS STUDIO. The location is a mall with many different stores, but there are currently a lot of empty spaces. For this project numerous artists have painted fantastic colorful pieces on the walls.

FRANCE: Streetart Strasbourg – Fantastic Colors Festival – Graffiti and Urban Art Collection

Strasbourg is the capital of the Alsace-Champagne-Ardenne-Lorraine region in north-eastern France and is also the official seat of the European Parliament. Located on the border with Germany, Strasbourg combines German and French influences in its culture, architecture and art scene. Especially during the annual editions of the fantastic COLORS streetart festival numerous local and international urban artists created works throughout the city.

BRITAIN: Moving Creativity through Screen Printing and Abstract Textile Painting – JANINE C SAUL

When you think of performance, you think of dance. And when you think of painting, you think of canvas. But what happens if you find a way to combine that, so movement and painting? This is exactly what JANINE C SAUL does with her magnificent art by painting on fabric, positioning it in a special way or letting it flutter in the wind. ARGENTINA: Streetart San Fernando – PAF – Paseo Festival – Awesome Urban Art Event

At the end of 2022, the long term urban art festival called “Paseo Festival San Fernando” a.k.a. PAF started to color up the city, promoted by the district municipality of Buenos Aires and organized by the prestigious artist SEBA CENER.
