GERMANY: Streetart Hannover – URBAN NATURE – Graffiti, Art & Culture Festival

The great festival URBAN NATURE in Hannover began in 2018, emerging from an initiative by the city and the local graffiti network to create more legal spaces for urban art. A large open wall area at the IHME HALL near Spinnereibrücke became the festival’s central location, quickly turning into a key meeting point for the graffiti and streetart community every summer. International artists, local writers, and guests from partner cities transformed the walls year after year, accompanied by workshops, jams, music, and community exchange. It developed into an open, non-commercial cultural event with a strong creative identity and growing recognition.

SPAIN: Streetart Villajoyosa – Graffiti and Urban Art in Alicante province

Villajoyosa, or in Valencian „La Vila Joiosa“, is a coastal town in the province of Alicante, with around 35.000 inhabitants. It is located on the Costa Blanca between Alicante and Benidorm, directly on the Mediterranean Sea. Main sights include the colorfully painted old town, the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, the traditional fishing harbor, and the Valor Chocolate Museum. There are also great graffiti and streetart around town, especially the artist KAOS left some awesome creations, also PEDRO ARAGONES aka GONES has a whole street with several pieces.

LEBANON: Streetart Beirut – Graffiti and Urban Art in the Lebanese Capital

Beirut is the capital of Lebanon and is located on the Mediterranean coast. The city is the country’s political, economic, and cultural center, as well as its most important port. For the city proper, figures typically range from around 350.000 to 1.9 million residents, while the Beirut metropolitan area is home to approximately 2.3 to 2.4 million people. This means that about one-third of Lebanon’s population lives in the greater capital area. Beirut is characterized by high urban density, strong cultural diversity, and a history shaped by modernization as well as war, reconstruction, and political crises. Of course you can find a lot of urban art around here, reflecting the cities issues.

AUSTRALIA: Gold Coast – Swell Sculpture Festival – Open Air Exhibition at Currumbin Beach

The SWELL SCULPTURE FESTIVAL is an annual open-air art festival held at Currumbin Beach on the Gold Coast. It typically runs for ten days in September and transforms approximately one kilometer of coastline into a freely accessible sculpture exhibition in public space. The festival was founded in 2001 as an initiative to bring more public art into the urban space of the Gold Coast and to use beaches as exhibition spaces. Since then, it has become a fixture on the regional cultural calendar and is now curated by a nonprofit organization led by NATASHA EDWARDS, with the participation of various artists and groups.

NEPAL: Pokhara – Lakeside – Rolling Stones Graffiti Wall – Urban Art Alley

The Rolling Stones Rock Bar is one of the most famous live music venues in Pokhara, located on Lakeside Road. It was founded around 2017 and quickly became a central gathering place for rock music fans as well as for local and international musicians. In addition to nearly daily concerts, the space as well hosts DJ sets and parties. Graffiti enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy here, as the small alley leading to the entrance is adorned with several graffiti and streetart pieces. NORWAY: Streetart Bergen – Stencil Works and Urban Templates in DOLK’s hometown

Since many years in Bergen stencil art has established itself as a distinct form among the many urban artworks. Artists use stencils to quickly apply detailed motifs to house walls and fences, often with socially critical or humorous messages. Among those who have become well-known are the Norwegian artists DOLK, VLEK and AFK, whose works are partly political, partly playful, and have a lasting impact on the cityscape. There are works by many other artists, especially in central districts such as Nordnes and Sandviken, but also in hidden alleys off the beaten track.

USA: Streetart Seattle – Belltown Corridor – Urban Art Project by JOE NIX and ARTXIV

The urban art project BELLTOWN CORRIDOR in the Seattle is a streetart initiative launched by JOE NIX that transformed an otherwise ordinary alley in the Belltown neighborhood into an open-air gallery. The roughly one-block-long lane between 2nd and 3rd Avenue has been covered with large-scale murals by both international and local artists since 2016. The project was curated in collaboration with ARTXIV and with the goal to revitalize urban spaces and integrate art directly into the everyday life of the city’s residents.

GERMANY: Streetart Frankfurt – Character Jam 2026 – Jugendhaus am Bügel

From 9th till 10th May in 2026, the great CHARACTER JAM took place again at the JUGENDHAUS AM BÜGEL, this time it was the 14th edition of this fantastic event, where several artists redesign and color up the building complex and surrounding facades. This time, the pieces weren’t done on the stage, but instead the entire front building was decorated with a great concept wall by the BORN CREW and KWG CREW aka KIDS WITH GUNZ, also the backyard wall adorns now a collab by the TIF CREW aka THE INFAMOUS FACES, and the youth center has now a new large mural facing the sports field made by EMESA and HERA.

NEPAL: Lalitpur – Streetart Kupondole – Graffiti and Urban Art Collection

Kundopole is a densely built neighborhood in the northern part of Lalitpur and is considered a local residential and commercial area outside the main tourist hubs. In the streets you can encounter interesting urban artworks of various forms; especially the SATTYA MEDIA ARTS COLLECTIVE created two of its works here as part of the KOLOR KATHMANDU project and also several walls were painted by the former ART LAB collective, which meanwhile no longer exists anymore, but the involved artists have formed new crews such as TAG THEORY or the KOR ARTS COLLECTIVE
