From 24th to 26th July 2026 the Güterhallenweg in Mosbach became a meeting point for the international urban art and graffiti scene. Around 40 artists from different parts around the globe came together to create a large-scale mural across a total wall area of 1.100 square meters at the GRAFFITI FESTIVAL MOSBACH. The result was a unique open-air gallery in the heart of Mosbach, bringing together different styles and perspectives from the international streetart and graffiti world.
The colorful pieces created during the festival will remain permanently in place, transforming the area opposite Neckarelz train station into a publicly accessible gallery. A space previously used primarily as a transit area was thus turned into a new cultural and tourist attraction for the city. The murals will continue to invite both local residents and travelers to stop, explore and admire the numerous artworks, while also serving as an artistic landmark for Mosbach.
Throughout the three-day festival, visitors had the opportunity to watch the artists at work and experience firsthand how the large-scale artworks gradually took shape. An exciting musical program featuring DJs and MCs added to the festival atmosphere. Local associations also took care of the culinary side of the event, offering visitors a variety of food and drinks.
Admission to the festival was free of charge. The workshops, guided tours and discussion sessions were also open to everyone at no cost. Also the youngest visitors could enjoy face painting on all three days. The festival was organized and hosted by CLARAFOSCA and JANIS with their project agency MIMISTO.
