LITHUANIA: Minimal Mondays, minimal.lt and the Supynes Festival – DJ KAMEU

Monday is usually not the best day to party. The week already started, mostly there is still enough satisfaction or headache from the weekend, so you don´t find many people who go out, therefore as well not many places are open and offer long lasting venues. But this is not the case in Vilnius, on Mondays there is always a special program of high quality electronic music at the Minimal Mondays events of minimal.lt. ESTONIA: Tallinna Linnahall – Lost place graffiti

Here is an article for the streetart lovers, especially the fans of abandoned buildings and lost places. At the coast to the Eastern Sea between the Tallinna Sadam harbor and the Kultuurikatel, the culture center, there is the Linnahall located. It´s not really used anymore and this old Mayan pyramid like monument made of grey concrete just gives you some mysterious vibes. It could be as well kind of a medieval sea fortress to protect the coast with gunpowder cannons. But it´s not that old, it was just built in 1980 by the Estonian architects Raine Karp and Riina Altmäe.

Delicious burgers and fantastic graffiti diversity next to the table. When you go to Vilnius you should definitely visit the unconventional artist and alternative dinner place Keule Ruke in the Pylimo street 66 near the train station. The whole restaurant, the walls outside and inside, the garden area in the backyard and even the roof and the floor, just everything is painted and bombed. It´s a wonderfully loaded color clash you wouldn´t expect in this street close to the tracks.
