CHILE: Streetart Santiago -San Miguel – Museo a Cielo Abierto – Open Sky Museum – Murales Gallery

The great mural project MUSEO A CIELO ABIERTO in San Miguel, a suburb city in the Santiago greater province Región Metropolitana, was born in March 2009. Today this open sky museum project has become the largest collective expression of streetart in Chile with meanwhile 64 fantastic huge artworks on more than 6000 m² in one neighborhood. During the years numerous national and international artists contributed and intermingled their techniques of muralism and graffiti on high scale building walls with amazing creations.

CYPRUS: OLAK – Graffiti Sprayer | Graphic Designer

OLAK is a graffiti sprayer from Limassol and has been among the first generation of the graffiti community that helped to establish graffiti and urban arts in the streets of Cyprus. He is still active painting in all kind of situations. As one of the old schoolers of the island over the years he has been involved also in many graffiti projects and events such as the jam JUST HIP HOP and the STREET LIFE FESTIVAL. Meanwhile he works as a graphic and multimedia designer based in Spain with regular visits in Cyprus for work and other projects.

EGYPT: Temples of Abu Simbel – Honorable Memorials of Ramses II – The moved Temples Project

The temples of Abu Simbel are two rock temples on the western shore of Lake Nasser. They are located in the Egyptian part of Nubia near the town of Abu Simbel and were built in the 13th century BC under Pharaoh Ramses II of the 19th dynasty of the ancient Egyptian New Kingdom. Between November 1963 and September 1968, a world-wide collaborative project took place to relocate and save the historic and architecturally important site.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Moabit – 21er GALLERY – ANTI RACISM JAM 2023

Moabit shows flag! With cool music, graffiti and creative standing together against racism and discrimination heaps of artists participated at the “Anti Racism Jam 2023”, which took place on 31st March, April 1st and 2nd around the “Center for Art and Urbanism” (ZK/U). The event was organized by MARE, PHET and STEREOHEAT from the 21ER GALLERY and magnificent works of art were created on the three days at several spots.

ARGENTINA: Urban Photography – Mar del Plata – Rocca & Roll – Open Sky Museum – GABRIEL ROCCA

GABRIEL ROCCA witnessed the explosion of Argentine National Rock at the beginning of the 1980s and photographically documented great events, festivals and the musicians’ presentations with his Minolta G9 camera. Four decades later, he inaugurated the open-air exhibition ROCCA & ROLL with his best photographs of that time in Mar del Plata.

GERMANY: Urban Art Berlin – Exhibition: Welcome to the Jungle – GITA KURDPOOR

Through her collaboration with PANDION and TRANSIT RÄUME, artist GITA KURDPOOR started in January 2023 as the first resident to design a former cab Showroom in the Prinzessinnenstrasse in Berlin Kreuzberg with her art. She has decided to exhibit her “Animal Collection” and to bring oversized on the walls. She made this decision in reference to Kreuzberg and its diversity.  The exhibition will last until 30th of June 2023, possibly there will be an extension.

EGYPT: Alexandria – Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa – Underground Hidden Treasures

The catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa are considered one of the best archaeological sites in Alexandria. They were discovered at the beginning of the 20th century and are considered to be one of the largest Roman burial sites. These tombs were excavated in the Mother Rock at the time of Emperor Antoninus in the 2nd century A.D. These tombs represent the last major existing construction in the interest of the ancient Egyptian religion.
