South of the city of Aswan on the west bank of the Nile lies the Nubian Village as part of the town of Nagaa Suhayl Gharb. The place is just an astonishing treasure trove of interesting culture and great urban art. Nearly most of the buildings are provided with grandiose works of art or simply completely painted as large complete works. Included are murals by ROMA, RAMY TAG, ROBY, MAHA GAMIL and many more.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Berlin Mitte – North Side Gallery – EQUAL JAM 2023

On March 5th, 8th and 9th on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, the great EQUAL JAM 2023 took place on the walls of the North Side Gallery with its second edition. More than 70 local urban artists painted, pinned, glued and sprayed on the subject of equality and created a huge and unique open-air gallery for Berlin on more than 1200 m². The independent city of Bydgoszcz in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship has around 350,000 inhabitants, making it the eighth largest city in Poland. Worth seeing is the Cathedral of St. Martin, the Basillica, the Exploseum or the Fontana Potop. CYPRUS: Streetart Nicosia – Taht-el-Kale District – Graffiti and Urban Art Collection

The neighborhood Taht-el-Kalein in Nicosia is located in the inner core of the city around the historic Famagusta Gate. There are churches and mosques here, but otherwise it is a rather run-down area in terms of buildings and workshops, many of which have been abandoned and lost. Just as the buildings are only half used, so is the graffiti, which are rather bombed and short pieces, but super old ones are still existing. Nevertheless, the place is very interesting and shows a historicity of local crafts development and urban art. This strange border situation changed a lot and keeps it strange. Local artists like especially ASTRAKISTRIKES with her project “Mapping the Old City” try to bring more color and innovative ideas to those quarters.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Creative and Historic Art Space at Hackesche Höfe – Haus Schwarzenberg

A place of history, culture and art. The listed HAUS SCHWARZENBERG at the Hackescher Markt is home to a variety of facilities such as artists’ studios, an art-house cinema, memorials, a bar and galleries. In addition, there are commercial enterprises. In 1995, the “Verein Schwarzenberg” or in English the “Schwarzenberg Association” was founded and has been working since then cost-covering and economically independent, i.e. it receives no subsidies or other support. The association not only manages and rents out the space, but also promotes mainly young and unknown artists through the gallery NEUROTITAN.
