JAPAN: Urban Art Tokyo – Shibuya District – Sticker, Paste Ups & Stencils

There are some urban art projects in Tokyo and you can also find legal commissioned works, but the administration takes strict and quick action when it comes to illegal graffiti, and the wall paintings are often removed or painted over within a short time. It looks differently when it comes about stickers, there are simply countless of them and entire sticker walls have been created in the streets. SWEDEN: Urban Artist CODE26 – Abstract Patterns in Urban Space – JÖRG – Graffti Lettering – Independent Style

Discomformities with the rules, experiments with novelty and, above all, simply giving a fuck about the name. “It’s about how good you paint and how often you paint that counts”. The creative artist CODE26 from Gothenburg started with graffiti art at the end of the 90s, but his artistic range has since developed extensively and he paints everything from letters and figures to abstract creations. And sometimes he also paints JÖRG. Or whatever occurs to him at the moment and whatever he feels like doing.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Prenzlauer Berg – Mauerpark – FLINTA* GRAFFITI JAM

On March 8th is the annual International Women’s Day and this year the third edition of the great FLINTA* GRAFFITI JAM will take place again at the Berlin Mauerpark. The acronym FLINTA* stands for women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans and agender people. The asterisk at the end is intended to include further variations in gender diversity. According to the meaning, the event is about variety, diversity, respect and equality. In 2022 and 2023 two editions of this fantastic event already happenend with numerous awesome artworks. BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA: Street Arts Festival Mostar – SAFMO – Graffiti and Urban Art since 2012

Mostar is the largest city in Herzegovina, the southern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the sixth largest city in the country with 113,000 inhabitants. Since 2012 great artworks get created throughout the city during the fantastic STREET ARTS FESTIVAL MOSTAR, or SAFMO for short, which is organized annually by the REZON ASSOCIATION. Countless fantastic works have been created since then, from large colorful murals to small filigree works.
