ITALY: The Chamber Turin @ Graphic Days Vol.6 – IL CERCHIO E LE GOCCE

During the visual design festival “Graphic Days”, which took place in Turin from September 16th till 26th in 2021, local artists, studios, galleries and creative spaces opened their premises with interesting exhibitions as part of the festival section “In the city”. A calendar of free events spread throughout Turin. One station was “THE CHAMBER” by the collective IL CERCHIO E LE GOCCE. GERMANY: Streetart Map Insel Poel – Baltic Island Art in the Bay of Wismar

The Island of Poel is located in the Wismar Bay in the Baltic Sea near the city of Wismar. In 1997 it became a state-approved resort, and since 2004 the municipality has been known as the Ostseebad. Photographer and streetart hunter Holger Peter paid a visit to the Island of Poel and found several beautiful works of art spread over the area. The small and large murals often show motifs from local nature, fishing ships and the sea. Check out the collection and the new map!

Today we have another colorful, interesting and authentic interview for you with a fantastic artist from São Paulo in Brazil. We introduce you to the heartful painter and creative graffiti sprayer Daniel Bazco, to his art, his thinking and his mission to bring more life and positive energy into the cities and the minds of the people. Daniel Bazco’s motifs are mostly about flora and fauna, but he also likes to paint portraits and characters. In doing so, he often chooses special people whom he would like to remember, but also people who deserve criticism. What all of his works have in common, however, is that they shine with strong color intensity.

GERMANY: Cristina Binetti’s experimental movies – INVENTAFILM

The focus is on experimental film, but Cristina Binetti’s visual art project also includes her directorial work, photographs, documentaries and books. The video artist was born in 1976 in Frankfurt am Main, but has her roots in Apulia near Bari. Many of her films have therefore been made in Italy. As a child, she wrote short stories, later screenplays, until she was finally able to sell her screenplay debut “Transire” to an international film production.

POLAND: Streetart Warsaw – Images full of emotions that cannot be ignored – Artist ANDY BLACK

Using the bicycle path over the Vistula River in Warsaw, leading along the access roads to the Siekierkowski Bridge, or running to the bus or tram on the left-hand side of the Poniatowski Bridge, you can encounter fascinating images created by great artist ANDY BLACK. Pictures that cannot be ignored, full of emotions that everyone can read differently. Sometimes it is anger, sometimes fear or surprise. Or maybe you will see a smile there? In fact, it is up to the viewer to read these feelings. They are images that replace many words that could be used to describe them.

USA: Marc Kennedy, Crumb Catcher & The Thick Un’s – News October 2021

Since the last interview with fantastic artist Marc Kennedy here on Vagabundler the founder of Crumb Catcher and The Thick Un’s continued to develop and grow. He definitely has done many more of his special creative and funny collages. As well he adapted his art on canvas prints and posters, he started doing cool pop-up markets with full tables, released a concept album with corresponding lyric book and added three new words to the English language!
