Here we have a great collection of urban artworks in the city of Derry or also called Londonderry. The place is close to the border between Ireland and Northern Ireland, which means riots are common. Sometimes it is more calm, sometimes more aggressive. The situation is not nearly solved and there is much tension since ages. You can find a lot of the context of the situation filled into the artworks. Awesome artists are around and try to make the walls more colorful, but as well they put in messages.

GERMANY: Graffiti Event at Berlin’s North Side Gallery – Liebe zur Kunst Jam – Love for Art

On 30th June and 3rd July 2022, more than 30 urban artists redesigned parts of the North Side Gallery during the LIEBE ZUR KUNST JAM, which would mean in English “Love For Art”. Regardless of origin, socio-economic status and gender, the walls of the North Side Gallery, legalized by the GRAFFITI LOBBY BERLIN, were painted together. The event was organized by EMILY STRANGE. CYPRUS: Scuplture Park Ayia Napa – Astonishing Artworks on an 20.000 m² area

Besides the wonderful beaches and the extensive night live, the town of Ayia Napa offers also some culture stuff and fabulous sculptured artworks on an 20.000 m² area. The Sculpture Park in Ayia Napa was built in 2014 and every year they organize a Symposium where sculptor artists from all around the world can participate. That means the park is growing every year with some new fantastic objects. We tried to document nearly all of them.

GERMANY: Open Air Graffiti Gallery – ALL WE WROTE – 5 Countries & 36 Artists

From 2nd till 26th of June in Berlin around the Tauentzien Street the fantastic ALL WE WROTE open air exhibition took place with awesome urban artworks by 36 artists from five countries. You could travel through 50 years of graffiti culture while visiting Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, New York and São Paolo in one journey! With 1200 meters the huge gallery was the longest graffiti expo worldwide! The event was supported by URBAN CONTEMPORARY, CANION and BLVD KU’DAMM.

USA: Photographer, Digital Collagist and Streetart Hunter Caley Costley aka Bob Bleu

Caley Costley aka Bob Bleu is a street art photographer and art lover from Los Angeles who also creates wonderful works of art herself as a digital artist. The creative artist is part of the Vagabundler Collective and works on the map for the Californian city Los Angeles. but as well she creaties beautiful collages in her own comic style. In doing so, she often makes herself a comic figure and combines photographs that have been taken with these digital gimmicks. The result is interesting, colorful and warm-hearted, as well she often tries to draw attention to socially relevant issues through those creative messages.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Urban Nation Museum – Streetart Festival UNARTIG

From 17th June till 19th June 2022 the UNARTIG streetart festival took place around the Urban Nation Museum at Bülowstreet 7 with the motto “Kunst im Quartier”, which means in English “Art in the neighbourhood”. A huge mural made by the BROKEN FINGAZ CREW on the museum facade was inaugurated during the festival and several artists presented their artworks on temporary walls. ITALY: Awesome Colourful Accommodation in Verona – The Muraless Art Hotel

The MURALESS ART HOTEL in Verona is the first hotel in Italy entirely dedicated to Streetart. Its role will be that of an accommodation facility but not only, in fact, thanks to its over ninety rooms, common spaces and its external facade entirely painted, tip to be a real 360 ° temple of Streetart, a museum dedicated to Urban Art and its main Italian protagonists. VENEZUELA: Maracaibo and its Lago – Vibrant city, exciting history and largest lake in South America

Maracaibo is a port city on the Lago de Maracaibo in the northwest of Venezuela. It is the capital of the state of Zulia, with more than two million inhabitants after Caracas, the second largest metropolitan area in the country and is one of the largest cities in the Caribbean. Besides the interesting lively city the nature around is also astonishing. Lake Maracaibo is the largest lake in South America and one of the oldest lakes in the world at over 30 million years old.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – More than 40 artists at North Side Gallery for Father’s Day Jam

On May 26th 2022, more than 40 urban artists redesigned parts of the North Side Gallery during the FATHER’S DAY JAM. Regardless of origin, socio-economic status and gender, the walls of the North Side Gallery, legalized by the GRAFFITI LOBBY BERLIN, were painted, glued and colourfully decorated together. Additionally the artist OLA from the STADTPIRATEN together with the artist DYSM diligently glued two large paste-up walls. Check out the huge photo gallery from the event!

KAZAKHSTAN: Streetart Map Almaty – Graffiti and Urban Art in the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains

Almaty is the largest metropolis in Kazakhstan and is located in the foothills of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountain. It was the country’s capital until 1997 and has continued to be Kazakhstan’s commercial and cultural center. Landmarks include the Central State Museum with historical Kazakh artifacts, Panfilov Park in the center and the Tsarist-era Zenkov Cathedral. Of course, there is also beautiful urban art in the streets, from large murals and graffiti to small colorful gimmicks.
