ITALY: Art Project Turin – „Spazio Portici – Creative Paths“ – Open Call till 4th April for 2022 Edition

„Spazio Portici – Creative Paths“ is a project of the City of Turin, Creative Turin and the Contrada Torino Onlus Foundation. The goal is to open spaces for artistic expression under the arcades of the city, focusing attention on the enhancement of creativity with a particular focus on youth. Along the 12 kilometers of arcades will develop over time installations, exhibitions, temporary exhibitions, artistic happenings in order to create a traveling visual path that will help give new life to the arches and to value creativity. Check out the great creations from the first 36 artists. Till 4th April there is as well an Open Call for the 2022 edition.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – EQUAL JAM – More than 85 artists painted at North Side Gallery

On March 8th, the International Women’s Day, the great EQUAL JAM 2022 took place on the walls of the North Side Gallery. Over 85 local urban artists painted, pinned, glued and sprayed on the subject of equality and designed a huge and unique open-air gallery for Berlin. As well the new paste up art wall got inaugurated with numerous fantastic artworks. Check out the huge archive with the awesome creations from the event.

GERMANY: Photographer Pierre Zornik – Project Photogenic and PicZor Platform

Today we introduce you to a great photographer from Heilbronn in Germany, who is also a member of the Vagbundler network and has already made a lot of interesting contributions to our archive. Pierre Zornik has been a passionate photographer for many years, and some time ago he set up his own creative photography label called PicZor. ITALY: Streetart Turin – Museo Egizio – 60 Graphic Days Artists at the Exhibition ABRACADABRA

A “green magic” project conceived and promoted by Graphic Days® with the aim of donating new trees to the Turin area. 60 illustrators, Italian and foreign, have joined “Abracadabra” by offering their works. You can buy your illustration, or make a donation: the proceeds will be donated to the “Give a tree” initiative of the City of Turin. Therefore the great artworks were presented from September 2021 till January 2022 at the Museo Egizio.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Collection Ukraine – Stop the War in Ukraine! – Stop Wars!

The current war of aggression by Russia against Ukraine, which started on 24th of February 2022, is a disastrous catastrophe and shocks the whole world. Every day we receive news about the terrible events, about the fighting of the troops, the destruction and above all the suffering and fear of the population. Several urban artists in Berlin have expressed their absolute rejection of the cruel actions, their concerns and their big protest against this war in meaningful works of art. It also strongly shows a sign of solidarity to Ukraine at this difficult times. Stop this war and stop all wars in general!

POLAND: Streetart Bialystok – Fabulous Murals in the Podlaskie Voivodeship

Bialystok is the capital and only major metropolis of the Polish Podlaskie Voivodeship. Throughout its history it has been a multilingual and culturally diverse city, as evidenced by the bright and colorful urban art on the walls of the houses that combine modern techniques with historical memories. There are various large-scale murals and small artistic gems in the streets. Check out the gallery!

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Minimalistix Gallery – OPENING Exhibition

As the name suggests, the MINIMALISTIX GALLERY & COFFEE run by owner CENGIZ TATAR offers creative art and tasty coffee, but also everyday useful things. This new wonderful free mind space opened its doors on 10th of February 2022 with a great starting event in Bülow Street 11 in the Berlin district Schöneberg. Till 26th of February the gallery is open from 7 till 9 pm and the exhibition organized by GOMEZ and PETRA BRANKE aka MERLIN 007 will end on Saturday with a finissage. The other artists involved were JPS, PZY, MR SASA, BUBBLES,  CASE,  HOMBRE LOPEZ, FEFE, IMED ART, ANDRÉ KROMMER and HARALD HASSI.

GERMANY: Frankfurt Graffiti Jam DD12 – Das Dreckige Dutzend – The Dirty Dozen – Event Archive

The jam series „Das Dreckige Dutzend“ or in English “The Dirty Dozen” is a regular graffiti and hip hop event which the artist Niclas Hatwig aka AMBER brought to life in 2017. As the title suggests, initially 12 participants were planned to design a bridge wall near Frankfurt’s Westbahnhof, but meanwhile more than 50 sprayers are involved in these spectacles. Once or twice a year, large walls are redesigned in collaboration and the jam is accompanied by hip hop acts, breakdance and DJ music. Check out the huge archive from the the last events!

GERMANY: Graffiti Artist Niclas Hatwig aka AMBER – Das Dreckige Dutzend – IG Farbschicht

The graffiti artist Niclas Hatwig is better known to many under the name AMBER, which he also paints in his artworks. Sometimes with colorful characters. He has been involved with urban art since his youth, but not only paints himself, furthermore he organizes great events and gives workshops. In 2017 he started the jam series “Das Dreckige Dutzend” or in English “The Dirty Dozen”. AMBER connects the art scene and offers a great creative platform.

ALBANIA: Streetart Tirana – Graffiti in the Capital – Urban Art Collection

Fabulous travel photographer and world explorer Praxinho aka Praxi Deluxe brought some awesome photo material from his journey to the Albanian capital Tirana. Since 2018 the fantastic MURAL FEST TIRANA takes place in the streets and numerous artists from all around the globe have been invited in the previous years. This great event is hosted annually by the local art agency DEKORI with its director Henril Cule and with support by 167/B STREET. In the city you can find as well many old fashioned artworks from decades ago in mosaic style. Here is a collection from Praxinho, these artworks and many more are also located on the Streetart Map Tirana.
