GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – More than 40 artists at North Side Gallery for Father’s Day Jam

On May 26th 2022, more than 40 urban artists redesigned parts of the North Side Gallery during the FATHER’S DAY JAM. Regardless of origin, socio-economic status and gender, the walls of the North Side Gallery, legalized by the GRAFFITI LOBBY BERLIN, were painted, glued and colourfully decorated together. Additionally the artist OLA from the STADTPIRATEN together with the artist DYSM diligently glued two large paste-up walls. Check out the huge photo gallery from the event!

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Moabit – Union Sports Hall – 21er Gallery Artist Archive

The 21er Gallery‘s spray area includes several close by spots in the Berlin district of Moabit which the collective takes care of. The Union Sport Hall at Siemens Street is one of those creative places and new works are designed there at regular intervals. Projects and festivals take place, such as the annually Anti Racism Jam. GERMANY: Streetart Weißwasser – Graffiti & Urban Art Collection – NEW 3RD EYE MOVEMENT

Weißwasser or Oberlausitz is a large district town in north-eastern Saxony. It lies in the midst of a lignite-rich heathland between the Lusatian Lake District and the German-Polish border. With its rise from a rural village to an industrial town, Weißwasser grew from a population of around 1000 in 1885 to over 38,000 in 1988 and then fell back to 16,000 in 2020. The place is now a small town again, but offers great urban artworks in its streets. Here we have a collection of fantastic graffiti and streetart from Weißwasser. The images were contributed by photographer and artist CORS ONE from the crew N3M aka NEW 3RD EYE MOVEMENT.

GERMANY: Urban Art Archive and Streetart Documentation – Kollektive Offensive – Frankfurt, Erfurt, Jena & Berlin

Colours on the wall! Today we have another special graffiti article for you. We introduce you to the group Kollektive Offensive from Germany. They are photographers, documentators and historians for urban art, street creations or just odd things you find behind a bench. And they are preserving the interesting stuff from the city for more than a decade on their platform. Since 2010, the collective has been extensively documenting graffiti, creativity and oddities around town.

From 7th till 27th of May 2022 the exhibition ENERGETIC ART 2 took place at the MINIMALISTIX GALLERY in Bülow Street 11 in Berlin. It is the third exhibition at the new wonderful art space in the premises of CENGIZ TATAR‘s allaround shop where the project started with a first vernissage on February 10th, 2022. This third event shows works from the eight artists TALISSA MEHRINGER, HÜLPMAN, ANGELA MARTINEZ, PHISEL, CAROLINE O, MERLIN 007 and RABEA SENFTENBERG.

Everybody in his or hers environment has annoying and stress-inducing people and everyone is determined to deal with these individuals in different strategies and in their own way, which sometimes makes life difficult. One ignores, the next argues, others react in sport. Jessica Marquardt aka Jay Gnomenfrau (=Gnome Woman) has discovered a very creative way of dealing with these so-called “Ass Angels” (=”Arschengel”) and turning that into her passion for painting. Art acts as a valve and serves as a personal exploration of one’s own emotions.

May the Force be with you! STAR WARS is without a doubt one of the greatest space epics of all time. The old films are of course absolute cult, there are also some missteps with the newer ones, but the universe is constantly expanding and the creators behind it keep on writing and inventing diligently new offshoots. The Mandalorian is for sure a super awesome series and the portrait films are also great, not to mention computer games, comics or books, but also urban art! Here is a collection of STAR WARS themed graffiti and street art from Berlin from the previous years.

GERMANY: Masterpiece Collection – 21er GALLERY – ANTI RACISM JAM 2022

Moabit shows flag! With cool music, graffiti and creative standing together against racism and discrimination heaps of artists participated at the „Anti Racism Jam 2022“, which took place from March 25th to 27th around the „Center for Art and Urbanism“ (ZK/U). The event was organized by the 21ER GALLERY and magnificent works of art were created over the three days on the large concept wall and on the facades of the Union Sports Hall.  Check out the huge collection with the fantastic graffiti artworks!
