SOUTH KOREA: Gwangju – CUMA – Chosun University Museum of Art – Exhibition „Expanding the Gaze – The Reimagined Campus“

The Chosun University Museum of Art, or CUMA for short, is part of Chosun University in the city of Gwangju and exhibitions of fantastic works by current art students and graduates are regularly presented here, including works through all disciplines, from paintings and installations to sculptures, textiles, films and animations. It serves as a cultural space and window to the public, giving interested visitors an insight into the work at the art academy and the artistic identity of the students. From May 14th to 30th in 2025, the best works of the current semester were shown as part of the exhibition „Expanding the Gaze – The Reimagined Campus“.

SOUTH KOREA: Busan – Gallery Square – Creative Space & Art Education – BYEONG YONG JEONG

The DESIGN SQUARE art academy is located in the Beon-gil neighborhood in the Seo-gu district of Busan and classes are held in the building on the fourth floor, but there is also a very interesting creative space in the basement, the GALLERY SQUARE, where students can paint freely and exhibitions are held regularly. We talked to the artist and art teacher BYEONG YONG JEONG about the concept of this great place and took a look at the numerous fantastic artworks, which were made by students, workshop participants or just passing by creatives.

SPAIN: Madrid Exhibition – Bajo Derecha – Antonio Maura 18 – E Ciento Veinte – ABDUL VAS

On November 28th in 2024 the exhibition „Borrowed Times“ with great works by the artist ABDUL VAS opened with a beautiful vernissage at the Madrid gallery E CIENTO VEINTE. His works can be admired in the art space at Calle Antonio Maura 18 until February 8th in 2025. For ABDUL VAS, the overwhelming power of AC/DC’s music has displaced linear and routine time. He has decided to portray a set of writers who inhabit a dimension, where delicacy and loyalty to aesthetics intertwine, with the greatness of music from a time lent by eternity. SERBIA: Streetart Belgrade – Bulevar Despota Stefana 121 – BEOWALLZ – Graffiti Shop, Creative Meeting Place & Urban Art House

The graffiti store BEOWALLZ is definitely the most important place to go for equipment and cans in Belgrade, but also to meet like-minded people and get the latest information. The owner DEJAN has been running the place with all his heart and soul for years and is a veteran of the scene, supplying everyone with paint! The building is decorated all around with awesome sprayed artworks and there are also some great gems inside. If you’re in Belgrade, be sure to stop by DEJAN in his BEOWALLZ shop!

CYPRUS: Graffiti Writer, Muralist and Festival Organizer – Respect & Passion – PAPARAZZI

In recent years more and more color has been coming to the island of Cyprus in the Mediterranean. The enthusiastic artist ACHILLEAS MICHAELIDES, better known as PAPARAZZI, just kept on creating one fantastic artwork after the other. He is playing an important role in the development of the local scene and the passionate inventor builds up communities, hosts festivals, connects artists and runs his own studio in Larnaka. GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Minimalistix Gallery – Exhibition – ENERGETIC ART 2

From 7th till 27th of May 2022 the exhibition ENERGETIC ART 2 took place at the MINIMALISTIX GALLERY in Bülow Street 11 in Berlin. It is the third exhibition at the new wonderful art space in the premises of CENGIZ TATAR‘s allaround shop where the project started with a first vernissage on February 10th, 2022. This third event shows works from the eight artists TALISSA MEHRINGER, HÜLPMAN, ANGELA MARTINEZ, PHISEL, CAROLINE O, MERLIN 007 and RABEA SENFTENBERG.

GERMANY: Urban Art Berlin – Minimalistix Gallery – Exhibition – ENERGETIC ART – 9.4.22 till 30.4.22

From 9th till 30th of April 2022 the exhibition ENERGETIC ART takes place at the MINIMALISTIX GALLERY in Bülow Street 11. It is the second exhibition at the new wonderful art space in the premises of CENGIZ TATAR‘s allaround shop where the project started with an first vernissage on February 10th, 2022. GERMANY: Fantastic Snow Art and upcoming exhibition „Liberation“ by AUTARK – Berlin

These grandiose works of art were created by the Berlin artist AUTARK on the rear parking deck of the Deutsche Oper on the corner of Krumme Street and Zille Street. AUTARK made the beautiful creations by snow forming and shoveling on different days in January 2022. If you are in Berlin, don’t miss his upcoming great exhibition „Liberation“ from April 1st till April 3rd 2022 at Knesebecker Street 10 with heaps of awesome new artworks.

ITALY: Streetart Turin – Museo Egizio – 60 Graphic Days Artists at the Exhibition ABRACADABRA

A “green magic” project conceived and promoted by Graphic Days® with the aim of donating new trees to the Turin area. 60 illustrators, Italian and foreign, have joined “Abracadabra” by offering their works. You can buy your illustration, or make a donation: the proceeds will be donated to the “Give a tree” initiative of the City of Turin. Therefore the great artworks were presented from September 2021 till January 2022 at the Museo Egizio.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Minimalistix Gallery – OPENING Exhibition

As the name suggests, the MINIMALISTIX GALLERY & COFFEE run by owner CENGIZ TATAR offers creative art and tasty coffee, but also everyday useful things. This new wonderful free mind space opened its doors on 10th of February 2022 with a great starting event in Bülow Street 11 in the Berlin district Schöneberg. Till 26th of February the gallery is open from 7 till 9 pm and the exhibition organized by GOMEZ and PETRA BRANKE aka MERLIN 007 will end on Saturday with a finissage. The other artists involved were JPS, PZY, MR SASA, BUBBLES,  CASE,  HOMBRE LOPEZ, FEFE, IMED ART, ANDRÉ KROMMER and HARALD HASSI.
