BRITAIN: Logan´s Close – Scotland Rock ’n’ Roll

Carl Marah and Scott Rough are listening to music since they were little children, but the Swinging Sixties just got into their heads and kept on pushing them to the stage. They wanted to produce and play what they love. In 2014 the two 60s music lovers started to do gigs with musician Mick Reilly about the sound of this era. It was the foundation of the fantastic band Logan´s Close. Drums, two guitars, lead and rhythm, and their voices was quite alright for the beginning, but surely there was something missing.

Paint and colors, graffiti and graphics, these guys know everything about the perfect marker, the best spray cans and where are the wall spots in Vilnius. Actually they are selling all the equipment in their creative shop, as well they are familiar with the streets because they frequently paint themselves wonderful pieces and huge murals around the city and make their surrounding more colorful. They are convinced of what they sell; surely they are using the cans and markers themselves and know what they are talking about. OMAN: Adventurous Wadi Shab

A wadi is a valley or river that often leads to water only after heavy rains. Surprising flash floods can be caused by distant thunderstorms that fall in the correspondingly large catchment area of the wadi. The stay in Wadis with steep banks, but also in very wide wadis can become life-threatening in such cases. We went on a exploring tour to see some of those wadis, in summer time there is definitly no danger, maybe you could fall asleep and drown while relaxing in warm chilled basins and swimming pool like valleys of the wadis. One of the those famous and fantastic wadis is Wadi Shab, which we visited on our journey.

CROATIA: The Pag Bridge – Paški most

The Pag Bridge – in Croatian called Paški most – is the bridge that connects the island of Pag to the Croatian mainland. The structure is 301 meters long and 9 meters wide. It has a 201 meters long arch which rises 35 meters above a part of the Adriatic Sea which is called Ljubačka Vrata. It was opened on 17 November 1968, since then it´s an important and helpful infrastructural help for developing the island.

CROATIA: Rock Formation Chill Out – Novalja

Novalja is the second largest town on the island of Pag, between Rijeka and Zadar in the Croatian Adriatic. According to the city administration, the city has about 3,500 inhabitants and belongs to the Lika-Senj County. It describes itself as the tourist center of the island and yes it is. While we visited it wasn´t the visiting time, but during the summer the whole area is a party hot spot. We enjoyed some quite and relaxed chilled out time there.

POLAND / PORTUGAL: Mural Artist Duo MOTS – Diogo & Jagoda

Diogo is a graffiti artist from Portugal, Jagoda is originally from Poland. Together they are MOTS and this creative duet is travelling through the countries while leaving awesome and attention drawing artworks in the urban landscapes. They are specialized in making huge murals but love as well to do their colorful remodeling of walls at abandoned places or where it just seems to be needed.

Monday is usually not the best day to party. The week already started, mostly there is still enough satisfaction or headache from the weekend, so you don´t find many people who go out, therefore as well not many places are open and offer long lasting venues. But this is not the case in Vilnius, on Mondays there is always a special program of high quality electronic music at the Minimal Mondays events of minimal.lt. In summer they take place at the Vasaros Terasa, in winter at the indoor Kablys Club. We joined an event and interviewed one of the DJs.

LITHUANIA: Domas Mykolas – Mythological and Contemporary Sculptor

Huge balloon dinosaurs, wolf skulls or a little Trump figure with a spray can – these are some of the amazing sculptural artworks of Domas Mykolas from Vilnius. We met the creative artist while finishing one of his newest masterpieces at the remodeling spray event at Keulė Rūkė. His freshly made artwork was part of the “make empathy great again” mural at the front.  The whole group artwork is just brilliant, Domas contributed with the nice Trump statue.

VENEZUELA: Coro and the Médanos Nationalpark

Coro, officially Santa Ana de Coro, is the capital of the Venezuelan state of Falcón with about 258,000 inhabitants and is located on the Caribbean Sea at the north coast of Venezuela. In the north you can reach the Paraguaná peninsula via the isthmus of Médanos. In the northwest, the Gulf of Coro extends as a marginal sea of ​​the Gulf of Venezuela. Off the coast are the Netherlands Antilles: In the north is Aruba and in the northeast there is Curaçao. In the south begins after a few kilometers, the hills of the Sierra de Coro. The closest major cities are in the south Barquisimeto and in the southeast Valencia.
