In the north of Nice in the municipality of Castagniers, between the Vallon de Massac and the Vallon de Roguez, lies the city’s necropolis with its cemetery and cremation site. The water flows from the mountain towards the foot of the Var river via the two Vallons and above the Necropolis area the inflow is channeled into a concreted canal. This can carry a lot of water at peak times, but often it is simply empty. So of water, but not of color. Because the walls are filled with great graffiti which have accumulated over many years. It is definitely a historic urban art place and off the beaten track.
