GERMANY: Chemnitz – AJZ Talschock – We feed the Wall – Creative Urban Art Space

The alternative youth centre AJZ TALSCHOCK hosts a variety of creative projects and groups. It regularly organizes concerts, theatre and stage events, offers free Wi-Fi, free computer workstations, the gym „Bodyfarm,“ different workshops, a photo lab, the climbing wall „The Rock,“ the fully equipped junior band rehearsal room „Youth against Air Guitars“ and the archive of the social movements „SERO“ for research. In May 2007, the legal “Wall of Fame” graffiti areas were opened in the outdoor space and on the facades around the building, where the “We feed the Wall” jam now takes place annually.

GERMANY: Chemnitz – Lost Place Graffiti – N*Dorphinclub – Urban Art at abandonded Discotheque

The N*DORPHINCLUB in Chemnitz was a project by Human Traffic e.V. to promote, strengthen and freely develop youth and subculture and also served as a youth and cultural center. Fantastic acts, especially from the drum & bass scene, but also from the electronic music genre in general, performed here and gave great sets at legendary parties. After bankruptcy in 2011 the half-ruined lost place has now developed into a small urbex oasis, filled with graffiti and urban works of art.

FRANCE: Streetart Paris – Spot 13 – International Jam – 400 Writers from 17 Countries

On November 2nd in 2024 the great INTERNATIONAL JAM took place at the graffiti oasis and hall of fame SPOT 13, with almost 400 writers from 17 countries and 47 cities transforming the area under the spray theme „Silver Chrome“. The fantastic super event was organized by KRACO, ZOYER and KOMO. Check out the numerous pieces from this fantastic event!

GERMANY: Streetart Flöha – Augustusburger 118 – Old Colored Paper Factory – Urban Art Festival – IBUG

The old Buntfarbenfabrik in Flöha, or „Colored Paint Factory“ in English, was founded in 1878, but even before that it housed the former Strobel spinning mill. The industrial site has now been derelict for many years and has become an exciting lost place and urbex spot. Urban artists have also discovered this, especially the organizers of the great festival series IBUG, short for „Industriebrachenumgestaltung“, which means in English „Industrial Brownfield Redevelopment“. The 16th and 17th editions of the event took place on the abandoned factory site in 2021 and 2022 and countless great works were created.

FRANCE: Streetart Paris – Gobelins – Spot 13 – Quai d’Ivry Hall of Fame – Graffiti Paradise

The SPOT 13 is undoubtedly the biggest graffiti and streetart oasis in Paris, a complex of bridge piers and numerous large-format walls that are regularly covered with countless pieces, from large murals, cool graffiti and photorealistic streetart to small stencils or paste-ups. According to its name, the creative space is located in the 13th arrondissement, or Gobelins district, between Quai d’Ivry and Rue Bruneseau along and under the highway E15 aka Boulevard Périphérique. ITALY: Streetart Florence – Firenze Paste Ups, Sign Art, Stencils & Sticker Collection

Here we have a beautiful collection of small-format urban artworks in the capital of the Italian Tuscany region. Florence is best known for its numerous Renaissance masterpieces of art and architecture. One of the most famous sights is the Duomo Cathedral with its dome by the legendary master builder BRUNELLESCHI and a bell tower by the famous GIOTTO. The Galleria dell’Accademia displays MICHELANGELO‘s statue “David”, while BOTTICELLI‘s painting “The Birth of Venus” and LEONARDO DA VINCI‘s “The Annunciation” can be found in the Galleria degli Uffizi. But also on the street you can find great artworks which are at least on the same level!

SPAIN: Streetart Barcelona – Tres Xemeneies – Skatepark Graffiti & Hall of Fame Archive

The “Tres Xemeneies” skate park and graffiti hall of fame, located on the edge of the Sants-Montjuic district, owes its name to these three large buildings that belonged to the old “La Canadenca” power station. Although the skate park area is quite huge, it unfortunately only has a few elements, but the graffiti walls are definitely awesome. That’s why this place is the largest and busiest hall in Barcelona.

JAPAN: Urban Art Tokyo – Shibuya – Magnet by Shibuya 109 – Streetart Mall, Graffiti and Tags

MAGNET BY SHIBUYA 109 is a large multi-story shopping center located at the north exit of Shibuya Station in Tokyo. In addition to the famous RECOfan record base, there are countless underground shops, alternative fashion stores and lots of stuff for anime and manga fans. The entire staircase, the walls on the roof and some of the rooms were decorated with great works of art by numerous Japanese urban artists. This collection also includes streetart works, graffiti and tags in the area around the shopping center.

JAPAN: Urban Art Tokyo – Shibuya District – Sticker, Paste Ups & Stencils

There are some urban art projects in Tokyo and you can also find legal commissioned works, but the administration takes strict and quick action when it comes to illegal graffiti, and the wall paintings are often removed or painted over within a short time. It looks differently when it comes about stickers, there are simply countless of them and entire sticker walls have been created in the streets.
