ITALY: Turin Exhibition – Porta Nuova – THE WORLD OF BANKSY – Urban Art Exhibition

After its major success at the Milan Central Station, the awesome exhibition “The World of Banksy – The Immersive Experience” went to Turin’s Porta Nuova and can be visited till 29th of May 2022. The exhibition highlights influential pieces from Banksy and can be perceived as the framework of his career. ITALY: Streetart Turin – Museo Egizio – 60 Graphic Days Artists at the Exhibition ABRACADABRA

A “green magic” project conceived and promoted by Graphic Days® with the aim of donating new trees to the Turin area. 60 illustrators, Italian and foreign, have joined “Abracadabra” by offering their works. You can buy your illustration, or make a donation: the proceeds will be donated to the “Give a tree” initiative of the City of Turin. Therefore the great artworks were presented from September 2021 till January 2022 at the Museo Egizio.

ITALY: Streetart Turin – Mole Antonelliana – Photocall – Actors and actresses of Italian Cinema

The National Museum of Cinema, in collaboration with the University of Turin, pays tribute to cinema of the past and present. The photographic exhibition, which is taking place from 20th July 2021 till 7th March 2022, retraces over a century of Italian cinema through the bodies and the faces of the actresses and actors who have made it famous throughout the world. A journey down memory lane, back in time: the flashback begins with today’s stars of the silver and small screen and ends with the icons of silent cinema.

ITALY: The Chamber Turin @ Graphic Days Vol.6 – IL CERCHIO E LE GOCCE

During the visual design festival “Graphic Days”, which took place in Turin from September 16th till 26th in 2021, local artists, studios, galleries and creative spaces opened their premises with interesting exhibitions as part of the festival section “In the city”. A calendar of free events spread throughout Turin. One station was “THE CHAMBER” by the collective IL CERCHIO E LE GOCCE. ITALY: Teatro Colosseo Exhibition – Streetart in Blu 3 – BANKSY, BLU & ROBERT DEL NAJA

In June 2021 the fantastic exhibition “Streetart in Blu 3” opened its doors in the Teatro Colosseo with artworks from the famous leading urban artists BANKSY, BLU and ROBERT DEL NAJA aka 3D. The show rooms of the contemporary and alternative art museum at Via Madame Cristina 71 in Turin were peppered with magnificent creations made by those three masterminds. On information boards or on digital and audiovisual info screens, visitors were able to find out about the backgrounds of the works and makers. Additionally they showed an exciting interview with gallerist Steve Lazarides made by Andrea Olcese for the famous magazine Artibune. The exhibition was curated by Xora, Lacryma Lisnic and Serena Aisto with awesome lighting designs by Riccardo Bonis and Francesco Dell’Elba.

ITALY: Toward 2030 – What are you doing? – Turin Urban Museum Project

Turin became a large open-air museum with 18 works of urban art inspired by the United Nations 2030 agenda. This is “Toward 2030, What are you doing?”. The initiative involved 18 international street artists who have created in 2018 and 2019 altogether 18 various places in the city with fantastic murals. 18 urban artworks corresponding to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals plus one by Lavazza (Goal Zero) designed to amplify and disseminate the United Nations 2030 Agenda more effectively. The artists of three Turin collectives have collaborated for this project: Il Cerchio e le Gocce, Monkeys Evolution and Truly Urban Artists.

ITALY: Parco Dora Graffiti Space – Biggest Hall of Fame in Turin

Parco Dora is an huge inner-city park in Turin in the Piedmont region in Northern Italy. Until the 1990s the park was an industrial area of ​​450,000 square meters and centrally located on the Dora Riparia River. The meanwhile cleared parts were partially greened or rededicated to event areas, which has now 90,000 square meters and is also called the Area Vitali. The entire space is a spray hot spot and great graffiti and streetart get painted every day. It is Turin’s biggest Hall of Fame.
