GERMANY: Jessica Marquardt – From Gnomes, Elves and Assangels – Jay Gnomenfrau

Everybody in his or hers environment has annoying and stress-inducing people and everyone is determined to deal with these individuals in different strategies and in their own way, which sometimes makes life difficult. One ignores, the next argues, others react in sport. Jessica Marquardt aka Jay Gnomenfrau (=Gnome Woman) has discovered a very creative way of dealing with these so-called “Ass Angels” (=”Arschengel”) and turning that into her passion for painting. Art acts as a valve and serves as a personal exploration of one’s own emotions.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Collection – STAR WARS – May the Force be with you!

May the Force be with you! STAR WARS is without a doubt one of the greatest space epics of all time. The old films are of course absolute cult, there are also some missteps with the newer ones, but the universe is constantly expanding and the creators behind it keep on writing and inventing diligently new offshoots. The Mandalorian is for sure a super awesome series and the portrait films are also great, not to mention computer games, comics or books, but also urban art! Here is a collection of STAR WARS themed graffiti and street art from Berlin from the previous years.

ITALY: Turin Exhibition – Porta Nuova – THE WORLD OF BANKSY – Urban Art Exhibition

After its major success at the Milan Central Station, the awesome exhibition „The World of Banksy – The Immersive Experience“ went to Turin’s Porta Nuova and can be visited till 29th of May 2022. The exhibition highlights influential pieces from Banksy and can be perceived as the framework of his career. Art lover and photographer Luigi Savoia visited this fantastic place and documented the critical creative artworks, as well the shown short clips and the documentary movie “The Untold Truth Of Banksy” by Grunge magazine.

GERMANY: Urban Art Berlin – Minimalistix Gallery – Exhibition – ENERGETIC ART – 9.4.22 till 30.4.22

From 9th till 30th of April 2022 the exhibition ENERGETIC ART takes place at the MINIMALISTIX GALLERY in Bülow Street 11. It is the second exhibition at the new wonderful art space in the premises of CENGIZ TATAR‘s allaround shop where the project started with an first vernissage on February 10th, 2022. This second event shows works from the ten artists BLUE THINGS, CAROLINE O, CREN, FAWN, INDIEM, JPS, PZY, MERLIN 007, RABEA SENFTENBERG and WORLD COW. GERMANY: Masterpiece Collection – 21er GALLERY – ANTI RACISM JAM 2022

Moabit shows flag! With cool music, graffiti and creative standing together against racism and discrimination heaps of artists participated at the „Anti Racism Jam 2022“, which took place from March 25th to 27th around the „Center for Art and Urbanism“ (ZK/U). The event was organized by the 21ER GALLERY and magnificent works of art were created over the three days on the large concept wall and on the facades of the Union Sports Hall.  Check out the huge collection with the fantastic graffiti artworks!

SWITZERLAND: Photographer Marie Formica aka MATA HARIE – Intimacy, Soul Food and Touching Hands – Lausanne

The great photographs of MARIE FORMICA aka MATA HARIE are breathtakingly honest, they fascinate with their intimate moments that we all know but can never see ourselves like this. The creative artist from the Swiss city Lausanne at the Lake Geneva photographed these people in their most human moments, sometimes laughing, sometimes sad, sometimes angry, or just pensively daydreaming. As well she has a special fable for hands, their structures and anatomical conditions. In an intersting interview she tells us about her photography art and creative doings.

GERMANY: Fantastic Snow Art and upcoming exhibition „Liberation“ by AUTARK – Berlin

These grandiose works of art were created by the Berlin artist AUTARK on the rear parking deck of the Deutsche Oper on the corner of Krumme Street and Zille Street. AUTARK made the beautiful creations by snow forming and shoveling on different days in January 2022. If you are in Berlin, don’t miss his upcoming great exhibition „Liberation“ from April 1st till April 3rd 2022 at Knesebecker Street 10 with heaps of awesome new artworks.

ITALY: Art Project Turin – „Spazio Portici – Creative Paths“ – Open Call till 4th April for 2022 Edition

„Spazio Portici – Creative Paths“ is a project of the City of Turin, Creative Turin and the Contrada Torino Onlus Foundation. The goal is to open spaces for artistic expression under the arcades of the city, focusing attention on the enhancement of creativity with a particular focus on youth. Along the 12 kilometers of arcades will develop over time installations, exhibitions, temporary exhibitions, artistic happenings in order to create a traveling visual path that will help give new life to the arches and to value creativity. Check out the great creations from the first 36 artists. Till 4th April there is as well an Open Call for the 2022 edition.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – EQUAL JAM – More than 85 artists painted at North Side Gallery

On March 8th, the International Women’s Day, the great EQUAL JAM 2022 took place on the walls of the North Side Gallery. Over 85 local urban artists painted, pinned, glued and sprayed on the subject of equality and designed a huge and unique open-air gallery for Berlin. As well the new paste up art wall got inaugurated with numerous fantastic artworks. Check out the huge archive with the awesome creations from the event.

GERMANY: Photographer Pierre Zornik – Project Photogenic and PicZor Platform
