TURKEY: Streetart Istanbul – Azapkapı – “The world is a neighbourhood” – Graffiti Alley Project – MANU CRAZY FOR GRAFFITI & ACBR

Around the Lola Backpacker’s Hostel, the Spanish artist MANU CRAZY FOR GRAFFITI started a great art project together with the traveller and viajero ACBR during April 2023. “The world is a neighbourhood”. With the support of the hostel, the two painted the entire street and transformed the dreary landscape of houses into a small, colorful wonderland. Great scenarios, stylish graffiti and fantastic characters were created. The hostel is a bit hidden in a small alleyway that runs around the corner several times in the large maze of alleyways around the district.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Marzahn – Märkische Allee 181 – Graffiti Wall at the Fire Department

After a long process, the GRAFFITI LOBBY BERLIN and the youth culture center DIE KLINKE were able to inaugurate a new Hall of Fame in Berlin’s Marzahn district in May 2021. The outer wall of the local fire station department was cleared for artistic designs and has been a legal hall ever since. The wall surface is around 4 meters high and around 30 meters long, ideal for graffiti jams and fantastic concept walls, which are created there again and again. The works in this creative space are usually masterpiece quality and well worth a visit.

IRELAND: Streetart Dublin – Richmond Spray Space – Graffiti Paradise in Portobello

The area around Richmond Street is just a colorful art paradise. At least it once was on a much larger scale. Many buildings have since been demolished and some of the graffiti spots unfortunately no longer exist. But several wall parts are still active and great artworks continously get created here, also in our archive you can marvel at the previous area parts and the works, even if they are gone. It is basically a narrow side street, but this longer alley is filled over and over with graffiti and is one of the hot spots in town.

Mirissa is one of the hot spots for the surf community in the country and a popular tourist destination with good waves and fine sandy beaches. Visitors from all over the world come to Mirissa, and of course including many creative artists from the field of graffiti, which is why you can see really a lot of cool pieces on the walls here. Western-style graffiti with letters, because mostly you tend to see figurative murals on the island which are also around, but in Mirissa there is a comparatively large amount of graffiti.

SPAIN: Streetart Barcelona – Tres Xemeneies – Skatepark Graffiti & Hall of Fame Archive

The “Tres Xemeneies” skate park and graffiti hall of fame, located on the edge of the Sants-Montjuic district, owes its name to these three large buildings that belonged to the old “La Canadenca” power station. Although the skate park area is quite huge, it unfortunately only has a few elements, but the graffiti walls are definitely awesome. That’s why this place is the largest and busiest hall in Barcelona.
