The sculptor Pit Ruge designs fantastic creatures and entire wonderful worlds of wood, wire and color in his open-air workshop “Waldwerft. ” For the  huge and famous pumpkin exhibitions, which have been taking place for over twenty years now throughout Germany, he and a team of artists fabricate the complete thematic scenarios including figures, which are then hung with pumpkins. The creative factory also produces works of art for countless other events, exhibitions and festivals.

For example, he integrates foam into his works and sprays it. The motifs of his works often show space scenarios, mystical beings or the magic of nature. MALTA: Sacred Door Saints and Nicknamed Houses – Valletta Architecture

Religion plays an important role in Maltese culture and tradition. There are over 360 chapels and churches throughout the archipelago, including the huge Carmelite Cathedral in Valletta and the great Ta’ Pinu Basilica in Gozo for example. The presence of faith is also evident in the streets and integrated onto the homes of the Maltese people in form of small plaques, figures and ornaments depicting saints and thus acting as the patron saint of the building. Many Maltese also give their houses their individual names, so you often find among these door saints also tiles or signs with the building names. Here is a small collection of these beautiful mostly made of ceramic works of art.

The Teufelsberg Domecast is a podcast series with ambient experimental live performances using the Dome at the top of Teufelsberg in Berlin as a natural parabolic reverb. Their mission is to gather hand picked artists with a deep interest for music experimentation in their distinctive musical background and they look for artists who are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of frequencies and putting the dome to the test of sound. Milau Lutumba aka Delutu is a passionate reporter, photographer and réalisateur from Paris, the wonderful capital of France. On his Instagram channel he provides nearly daily new super amazing artworks, mostly from his city, but also from other exciting places in France. As well he runs an interesting Facebook account and a recommendable Youtube channel with heaps of interviews and reportages. This guy is excitingly busy and provides really good stuff!
