GERMANY: Streetart Hamburg – Harburg – Bostelbeker Hauptdeich – Heimfeld Hall of Fame

The HEIMFELD HALL on Bostelbeker Deich in the Hamburg district of Harburg is the largest and most important Hall of Fame in Northern Germany, with almost 1,150 meters of wall facade. The space is curated by the GroßStadtRaum association, which also regularly organizes urban art events. Countless fantastic graffiti is constantly being created here, but the real standouts are the Kings‘ large concept walls like „Avengers“, „Poseidon“ or „Neptun“. We’ve created an extensive archive, which continously gets filled with photos of these awesome works.

GERMANY: Streetart Fürth – Europakanal – Grundig Park Masterpiece Collab – Urban Art Jam – 28 Graffiti Artists on 800 m²

This page is about an incredibly awesome and superb veritable long masterpiece. It’s consistent of numerous parts made by local, regional and international creators with grandiose works non-stop! You can find this great wall at the Europakanal along the Grundig Park in the city of Fürth, which has around 131,00 inhabitants and is located in the Bavarian region of Middle Franconia near Nuremberg in south-east Germany. In September 2022, the wall along the Europakanal was designed with a colorful collaborative work by more than 28 graffiti artists.

You simply have to love them – the „Human Beans“ in RAL 2000 color by the British and currently in Hamburg living artist DAVE THE CHIMP. Cheeky, funny, intelligent, effectively reduced to a maximum, with the highest recognition value. An ingenious „trademark“ that always makes you smile, amuses you uninhibitedly, but also makes you think, makes you reflect. GERMANY: Streetart Bremerhaven – Graffiti Jam Wall – SUMMA MADNEZZ – Edition 2024

The fantastic graffiti jam SUMMA MADNEZZ took place again at the Fischereihafen quarter in Bremerhaven for the 14th time, and like always an astonishing collab wall got created. The 400-meter-long façade of a former shipbuilding yard gets decorated every year during this happening with awesome masterpieces. More than 50 artists collaborated with several themes at beginning of September, one of them was „Four Elements“. So the four pillars of Hip Hop, which are Rap or MCing, DJing, B-Boying or Breakdance and Graffiti-Writing. Check out the fantastic artworks!

GERMANY: Streetart Hannover – HOLA UTOPIA! – Urban Art Festival – Artist Gallery

HOLA UTOPIA! is an international hip hop and streetart festival in Hannover that transforms the city into a space of debate and promotion of progressive values. The socio-cultural festival encourages all Hannoverians to share their ideas for the future of their city during workshops. Leading German and international street artists then implement them into the design of large-scale artworks. Involved in the event is also the HIP HOP KULTUR e.V. and since 2024 the event also takes place in the city of Braunschweig.

GERMANY: Streetart Braunschweig – HOLA UTOPIA! – Urban Art Festival expands to Braunschweig

The HOLA UTOPIA! urban art festival is actually based in Hannover and enriches the city every year with many great works. There in 2024 it took place from August 19th to 25th, but also for the first time as an offshoot in the city of Braunschweig, around 70 km to the east. From September 16th to 22nd, local and international artists painted Braunschweig’s city facades with colorful murals and wall paintings. Check out the great artworks!

GERMANY: Exhibition Saarbrücken – Historisches Museum Saar – ILLEGAL – Streetart & Graffiti from 1960 till 1995

A visit to the Historisches Museum Saar on Saarbrücken’s Schlossplatz is the perfect complement to the “Urban Art Biennale” on the Hüttenfabrik museum grounds and in the city center of Völklingen. The special exhibition “Illegal” can be seen there from 18th May 2024 until 23rd February 2025, in which a selection of pieces by 123 national and international artists presents key works and never-before-shown rarities, all of which were created illegally directly for an audience on the street, all of which are characteristic of the prehistory and later development of streetart and graffiti in the USA and Europe.

GERMANY: Streetart Bremen – Stephanikirchenweide 19 – HIDDEN TREASURE Urban Art Festival – 2024 Edition

The HIDDEN TREASURE in Bremen is the world’s first black light urban art festival. The artists work together according to predetermined color concepts, using only black and six blacklight colors. Today we present you the photos from the 2024 edition which took place from 2nd till 4th of August at the Alte Werft at Stephanikirchenweide 19. Around 70 national and international artists came to spray and this time the motto was “3D Odyssee”, because the works of art were not only bathed in black light, but 3D glasses were also available for purchase on the site, which catapulted the murals into 3-dimensional space!

GERMANY: Urban Art Bremerhaven – Fischereihafen – Graffiti Jam Wall – SUMMA MADNEZZ

The fantastic graffiti jam SUMMA MADNEZZ has been taking place in Bremerhaven since 2010 and brings together local and international artists every year to create a huge wall. Initially the event took place at different locations, but since 2015 the organizer and artist THOE and his colleagues have been provided with a 400-meter-long wall in Oststraße at the Fischereihafen quarter. The façade of a former shipbuilding hall is ideal for large-scale creations and every year amazing artworks are sprayed here by more than 50 participants under a specific motto.

GERMANY: Völklinger Hütte – Mining Complex Art Space – Urban Art Biennale – UNESCO World Cultural Heritage

The VÖLKLINGER HÜTTE is a former ironworks founded in 1873 in the Saarland town of Völklingen. The plant was shut down in 1986 and announced World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1994, as the only preserved ironworks in the world from the heyday of the steel industry. On an area of ??over 600,000 m² an exciting theme and adventure park has developed over time with huge lost place buildings and heaps of art, from graffiti to murals and installations or sculptures. Since 2011 as well the great URBAN ART BIENNALE takes place in regular intervals with numerous artists from all around the globe.
