Raleigh was founded in 1792 and, with a population of 467,000, is the capital of the state of North Carolina. The booming metropolis with its big city atmosphere and southern charm offers a variety of cabarets and the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts is particularly worth a visit. The 10th Special Olympics World Summer Games were also held here in 1999. Of course, the city also has plenty of urban art to offer. USA: Biltmore Train Writing – Urban art at the Tracks – Fantastic Yard Graffiti

This place is not a real train yard, it is more of a stabling point for trains that are parked here for longer periods of time. Naturally a perfect surface for graffiti. New trains keep arriving and departing. Over time, they are decorated with new graffiti. The area is located at the outskirts of the historic Biltmore Village close to Asheville within a short distance to the River Arts District. There is an elongated set of train compartments stretching about 200 meters.
