NEPAL: Kathmandu – Dasarath Rangasala Stadium – Kanti Path Concept Wall

On the west side of the Dasarath Rangasala Stadium along the street Kanti Path in Kathmandu, a long mural depicting various sports was completed in 2024. The project was carried out in collaboration between the KATHMANDU METROPOLITAN CITY and the NEPAL ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS, which oversaw the artistic coordination and selected local artist teams. Work began in spring 2024 and was completed by late autumn that year. The long wall painting features various sports genres, but as well local children plays or traditional activities and board games.

NEPAL: Kathmandu – Streetart Buddhanagar – Babarmahal Snooker House Graffiti Wall

In the Buddhanagar district of Kathmandu, on Rajesh Marg along the Dhobi Khola River, there is a snooker hall called Babarmahal Snooker House. The exterior walls of this building and the adjacent ones are covered with graffiti; especially the PSD CREW was active here, as well the artist SAADHUX left a great character szenario. There are also some wall works inside, and streetart can also be found on other buildings along the road.

Indra Chowk is a neighborhood in the historic core of Kathmandu. As an important junction where several streets converge, it was once part of the ancient trade route between India and Tibet and remains a lively marketplace filled with shops, temples, and street life. The area is shaped by its religious and cultural significance with temples such as the Akash Bhairab shrine. On the walls and buildings around the hospital, street art can be found, reflecting social issues, urban identity, and contemporary forms of expression.
