GERMANY: Streetart Bremen – HIDDEN TREASURE – Urban Art Festival – Largest Black Light Graffiti in the World

The HIDDEN TREASURE in Bremen is the world’s first black light urban art festival. The artists work together according to predetermined color concepts, using only black and six blacklight colors. From August 18th to 20th August in 2023, over 50 graffiti creators painted the huge outdoor area at the Alte Werft at Stephanikirchenweide 19. As a highlight of the festival, the main wall was completely illuminated with black light at night, creating the largest black light graffiti in the world. GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Zehlendorf – Rathaus Exhibition – STREET LIFE 2.0 – VERBUND GRAFFITI & STREETART SZ

Zehlendorf town hall is getting colorful! From December 5th in 2023 till March 31st in 2024, more than 115 street art exhibits by over 70 artists can be admired on two floors of the Zehlendorf town hall. The exhibition was organized by the VERBUND GRAFFITI & STREETART SZ and the project STREETLIFE 2.0, in initiated by the artists PHILIP NADOLL and JONAS QUENTIN.

SPAIN: Streetart Mojácar – Travelgraff Urban Art Jam – Graffiti at the Gas Station

Those great artworks were created close to the Spanish town of Mojácar during the fantastic jam TRAVELGRAFF in 2018. It is a national contest with numerous Spanish artists from the Almeria region and also from other parts of the country. The motto of the jam was „Nuestro medioambiente y el suyo“, which means in English „Our environment and yours“. You can find the graffiti spot at the propane and butan gas station on the A-370 highway northwest of the town in the direction to Garrucha.

CANADA: Streetart Montréal – UNDER PRESSURE – Graffiti Jam – Fantastic Urban Art since 1995

Today we show you awesome artworks from several editions of the fantastic event UNDER PRESSURE, which is the oldest street art festival in Montreal, perhaps in America, maybe in the entire world! It was founded by the two local street artists SEAZ and FLOW in 1995 and its primary mission is to encourage community involvement through urban culture, and thus contribute to the development and influence of urban arts at the local and international level. A real great happening!

NEW ZEALAND: Streetart Whangārei – Street Prints Manaia Festival – Tuia te muka Tāngata

Whangārei is a city on the North Island of New Zealand, the Northland or Te Ika-a-Māui in the original language. The city has around 45.000 inhabitants and is the administrative headquarters of the district. You can find fantastic artworks in the urban space and especially in January 2019 some of the world’s best urban artists took part in the international art festival Street Prints Manaia. Another great streetart project is the Te Oranga jam.

CYPRUS: Streetart Limassol – Ypsonas Industrial Zone – Alexandrias Parking – ZOGRAFF JAM SPACE

Located in the Ypsonas Industrial Zone north of Limassol you can find a huge parking lot called Alexandrias. Bikers meet regularly on the large concrete area to do tricks or gather for rides. In 2022, also the fourth edition of the grandiose ZOGRAFF GRAFFITI JAM took place here and the more than 150 meter long surrounding walls were painted with a lot of hip hop, art and party. The writers received support from BIKE MAFIA CYPRUS and KOUMBARIS PAINTWORKS.

CANADA: Streetart Montréal – Vieux-Rosemont – Canettes de Ruelle – Urban Art Festival – 7th Edition 2023

In 2023 the fantastic urban art festival CANETTES DE RUELLE took place for the 7th time in Montréal. On September 2nd, 3rd and 4th more than 50 artists created fabulous artworks around the Vieux-Rosemont district and beautified the neighborhood. GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Hellersdorf – Marktplatzcenter – Kunsttage – Urban Art Exhibition

From October 16th till November 11th in 2023, the great urban art exhibition KUNSTTAGE took place in the Marktplatzcenter in Berlin’s Hellersdorf district. “Kunsttage” means “Art Days” in English. The event was organized by STEREOHEAT and SKENAR 73 together with the art agency FRAMELESS STUDIO. The location is a mall with many different stores, but there are currently a lot of empty spaces. For this project numerous artists have painted fantastic colorful pieces on the walls.

GERMANY: Urban Art Berlin – Moabit – Am Poststadion – 50 Years Hip Hop Jam – 21ER GALLERY

From 27th till 29th of October 2023 several fantastic artists painted an awesome collaboration masterpiece at the Poststadion during the “50 Years Hip Hop Jam”. The event was organized by MARE and TOMSTA from the 21ER GALLERY and great graffiti and characters got created on the big main wall and on additional backyard walls in the Berlin district Moabit. Check out the awesome artworks made by around 25 local and international artists.
