ITALY: Streetart Turin – Barriera di Milano – NAPE Memorandum Wall – MurArte Closing Party

In October 2018 various graffiti artists from around the city came together to create a great collaboration tribute wall for the legendary sprayer NAPE, who died in 2018. The event with dedicated memorandum artworks took place as a MURARTE CLOSING PARTY and was organized by the creative collectives IL CERCHIO E LE GOCCE and MONKEYS EVOLUTION. The graffiti artist PIERO SPADAROTTO aka NAPE lived from 4th August 1980 to 6th September 2018 and was one of the most important graffiti writers from Italy.

FRANCE: Streetart Paris – Spot 13 – International Jam – 400 Writers from 17 Countries

On November 2nd in 2024 the great INTERNATIONAL JAM took place at the graffiti oasis and hall of fame SPOT 13, with almost 400 writers from 17 countries and 47 cities transforming the area under the spray theme „Silver Chrome“. SERBIA: Streetart Belgrade – Runaway Street Art Festival – Annual Mural Project

The RUNAWAY STREET ART FESTIVAL is a project launched by local artist ANDREJ JOSIFOVSKI aka PIJANISTA and is organized annually in selected locations in Belgrade. The first edition of this great happening took place in 2016 and new works have been created every year since. Although it is called a „festival“, it is actually more of a project and the exclusively large-scale murals are created by local and international artists on buildings in Belgrade throughout the year.

GERMANY: Streetart Flöha – Augustusburger 118 – Old Colored Paper Factory – Urban Art Festival – IBUG

The old Buntfarbenfabrik in Flöha, or „Colored Paint Factory“ in English, was founded in 1878, but even before that it housed the former Strobel spinning mill. The industrial site has now been derelict for many years and has become an exciting lost place and urbex spot. Urban artists have also discovered this, especially the organizers of the great festival series IBUG, short for „Industriebrachenumgestaltung“, which means in English „Industrial Brownfield Redevelopment“. The 16th and 17th editions of the event took place on the abandoned factory site in 2021 and 2022 and countless great works were created.

ITALY: Streetart Turin – Corso Romania – Stazione di Torino Stura – Mistura Jam – MONKEYS EVOLUTION

The Torino Stura Railway Station, or in Italian Stazione di Torino Stura, is located on the Corso Romania and besides the public transportation it is also a fantastic urban art gallery. Especially in 2015, on the weekends of 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th July, the MONKEYS EVOLUTION collective organized the great graffiti jam MISTURA, where 60 artists from all over Italy plus foreign visitors covered the area of the railroad station with fantastic works of art.

GERMANY: Streetart Düsseldorf – 40 Grad Urban Art Festival – Farbfieber Collective – Graffiti Collection

The magnificent 40 GRAD URBAN ART FESTIVAL takes place in Düsseldorf every two years and brings artists from all over the world to the city to create fantastic works. Another active group is the collective FARBFIEBER with the artist KLAUS KLINGER, who have already realized many interesting projects in the streets, either on their own or in cooperation with international creatives. Another interesting feature is the „Pretty Wall“ under a railroad bridge, which is used by the PRETTY PORTAL gallery for events and works by invited artists. GERMANY: Streetart Bremerhaven – Graffiti Jam Wall – SUMMA MADNEZZ – Edition 2024

The fantastic graffiti jam SUMMA MADNEZZ took place again at the Fischereihafen quarter in Bremerhaven for the 14th time, and like always an astonishing collab wall got created. The 400-meter-long façade of a former shipbuilding yard gets decorated every year during this happening with awesome masterpieces. More than 50 artists collaborated with several themes at beginning of September, one of them was „Four Elements“. So the four pillars of Hip Hop, which are Rap or MCing, DJing, B-Boying or Breakdance and Graffiti-Writing. Check out the fantastic artworks!

CZECHIA: Graffiti Prague – Wilsonova Spray Space – Těšnov Hall of Fame – UnyFest

The Těšnov Hall of Fame is located in the Florenc district along the park of the same name and on the bridge to Wilsonova Street. It is a spacious area with several walls and bridge pillars, doing art here is allowed and legal. You can always find people painting, there are spray sessions and graffiti jams. On August 31st in 2024, the great UNYFEST also took place around the area with numerous urban artists and a fantastic line-up of various musicians from the hip hop scene.

SPAIN: Madrid Exhibition – Bajo Derecha – Antonio Maura 18 – E Ciento Veinte – ABDUL VAS

On November 28th in 2024 the exhibition „Borrowed Times“ with great works by the artist ABDUL VAS opened with a beautiful vernissage at the Madrid gallery E CIENTO VEINTE. His works can be admired in the art space at Calle Antonio Maura 18 until February 8th in 2025. For ABDUL VAS, the overwhelming power of AC/DC’s music has displaced linear and routine time. He has decided to portray a set of writers who inhabit a dimension, where delicacy and loyalty to aesthetics intertwine, with the greatness of music from a time lent by eternity. HOLA UTOPIA! is an international hip hop and streetart festival in Hannover that transforms the city into a space of debate and promotion of progressive values. The socio-cultural festival encourages all Hannoverians to share their ideas for the future of their city during workshops. Leading German and international street artists then implement them into the design of large-scale artworks. Involved in the event is also the HIP HOP KULTUR e.V. and since 2024 the event also takes place in the city of Braunschweig.
