The Flex Hall of Fame is one of the first legal graffiti areas in Vienna and is located on the Danube Canal near Schottenring. This spot has been legal since around 1994, when the city of Vienna opened up the area for legal graffiti art. The name “Flex” comes from the legendary techno and electro club Flex. As well the various riverbank spaces and promenades around are open walls and approved for legal spraying, it’s a huge open-air gallery. The Donaukanal is also regularly a part of the awesome urban art festival CALLE LIBRE.
