Torun is located in the Polish voivodeship Kujawsko-Pomorskie and has about 200,000 inhabitants. The old town was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, worth seeing are also the seat of the Voivodeship Parliament, the University of Torun, the Roman Catholic Bishopric and overall the buildings in the city held in North German Brick Gothic.
