Raleigh was founded in 1792 and, with a population of 467,000, is the capital of the state of North Carolina. The booming metropolis with its big city atmosphere and southern charm offers a variety of cabarets and the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts is particularly worth a visit. The 10th Special Olympics World Summer Games were also held here in 1999. Of course, the city also has plenty of urban art to offer. USA: Urban Art Alaska – Fairbanks – Plane Graffiti – The Fairbanks Aircraft – ANN-KRISTIN GÖTZ

The decommissioned Beech-18 adorned Davis Road in Fairbanks, Alaska, for years in its original paint scheme. In June 2024, it was transformed into a work of art that artistically captures Alaska’s natural forces in two different designs by the artist AKG (ANN-KRISTIN GÖTZ). The graffiti and fine-line elements are inspired by the Nordic-Arctic winter night and the hot summer days in the interior. Check out this great airplane artwork!

USA: Biltmore Train Writing – Urban art at the Tracks – Fantastic Yard Graffiti

This place is not a real train yard, it is more of a stabling point for trains that are parked here for longer periods of time. Naturally a perfect surface for graffiti. New trains keep arriving and departing. Over time, they are decorated with new graffiti. The area is located at the outskirts of the historic Biltmore Village close to Asheville within a short distance to the River Arts District. There is an elongated set of train compartments stretching about 200 meters.

Today we show you awesome artworks from several editions of the fantastic event UNDER PRESSURE, which is the oldest street art festival in Montreal, perhaps in America, maybe in the entire world! It was founded by the two local street artists SEAZ and FLOW in 1995 and its primary mission is to encourage community involvement through urban culture, and thus contribute to the development and influence of urban arts at the local and international level.
