GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Wilmersdorf – Old Reemtsma Factory – Tabakfabrik Gallery

Once the old Reemtsma cigarette factory was an interesting lost place where you could find a large number of great urban artworks. Especially in 2018 the graffiti jam HARTER TOBAK took place on the property and many local and international artists conjured up great pieces on the walls. The building complex has been demolished meanwhile and the old factory has disappeared entirely. But the photos remain of course and you can still admire them in our archive!

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Charlottenburg – Teufelsberg Creative Wonderland

The “Teufelsberg” or in English “The Devil’s Mountain” is a wonderful creative place above the rooftops of Berlin’s Charlottenburg district. Great art and cultural events have been taking place here for years. The former and half decayed NSA Cold war spy station has been converted into a creative wonderland, awesome parties take place, rousing festivals, interesting film events and of course there is a lot of terrific art. The walls are just bursting with urban art and the Teufelsberg is one of the largest Halls of Fames in Germany.

GERMANY: Graffiti Berlin – More than 40 artists at North Side Gallery – PAINT THE PARK JAM 2023

On 1st and 2nd April 2023 the first PAINT THE PARK jam took place on the walls in the park at Nordbahnhof organized by the GRAFFITI LOBBY BERLIN. The event was dedicated to the theme of “Graffiti Writing” and its facets. More than 40 artists from Berlin’s graffiti history were invited, who showed with different techniques what is possible in letter design. Additionally it was a happening for exchange and networking.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Moabit – 21er GALLERY – ANTI RACISM JAM 2023

Moabit shows flag! With cool music, graffiti and creative standing together against racism and discrimination heaps of artists participated at the “Anti Racism Jam 2023”, which took place on 31st March, April 1st and 2nd around the “Center for Art and Urbanism” (ZK/U). The event was organized by MARE, PHET and STEREOHEAT from the 21ER GALLERY and magnificent works of art were created on the three days at several spots.

GERMANY: Urban Art Berlin – Exhibition: Welcome to the Jungle – GITA KURDPOOR

Through her collaboration with PANDION and TRANSIT RÄUME, artist GITA KURDPOOR started in January 2023 as the first resident to design a former cab Showroom in the Prinzessinnenstrasse in Berlin Kreuzberg with her art. She has decided to exhibit her “Animal Collection” and to bring oversized on the walls. She made this decision in reference to Kreuzberg and its diversity.  The exhibition will last until 30th of June 2023, possibly there will be an extension.

GERMANY: Streetart Babenhausen – Freibad Jam – Das Dreckige Dutzend – AEROSOL QUEENS 2022

After several years of grandiose events and spray sessions of DAS DRECKIGE DUTZEND, the first additional only femal writers jam took place on 3rd and 4th of September in 2022 at the local swimming pool in Babenhausen: The fantastic event AEROSOL QUEENS was born and is going to happen from now on annually. That means two fantastic jams every year! DD12 and AEROSOL QUEENS.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Berlin Mitte – North Side Gallery – EQUAL JAM 2023

On March 5th, 8th and 9th on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, the great EQUAL JAM 2023 took place on the walls of the North Side Gallery with its second edition. More than 70 local urban artists painted, pinned, glued and sprayed on the subject of equality and created a huge and unique open-air gallery for Berlin on more than 1200 m². GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Creative and Historic Art Space at Hackesche Höfe – Haus Schwarzenberg

A place of history, culture and art. The listed HAUS SCHWARZENBERG at the Hackescher Markt is home to a variety of facilities such as artists’ studios, an art-house cinema, memorials, a bar and galleries. In addition, there are commercial enterprises. In 1995, the “Verein Schwarzenberg” or in English the “Schwarzenberg Association” was founded and has been working since then cost-covering and economically independent, i.e. it receives no subsidies or other support. The association not only manages and rents out the space, but also promotes mainly young and unknown artists through the gallery NEUROTITAN.

GERMANY: Berlin Graffiti – Charlottenburg – Fantastic Hall of Fame at the Mierendorf Insel – Jungfernheide

The Hall of Fame of the Mierendorf Insel is a legal graffiti space at Lise-Meitner Street 50 in the Berlin district Charlottenburg. At this spot continously magnificent works of art are getting created by the top artists. During the last years we photographed heaps of awesome creations and documented numerous jams and spray sessions. Check out the huge archive with more than 130 artists and several thousand photos.

GERMANY: State Insane Asylum Domjüch – Lost Place Urbex – ARTBASE FESTIVAL

Urban art in lost places and forgotten worlds, such as an abandoned psychiatric ward. That’s what the ARTBASE festival offered in 2019 on the grounds of the former Domjüch state mental institution in Neustrelitz. More than 150 international artists and five Berlin collectives designed the walls of the asylum from the inside and outside with breathtaking works of art.
