On 1st and 2nd April 2023 the first PAINT THE PARK jam took place on the walls in the park at Nordbahnhof organized by the GRAFFITI LOBBY BERLIN. The event was dedicated to the theme of “Graffiti Writing” and its facets. More than 40 artists from Berlin’s graffiti history were invited, who showed with different techniques what is possible in letter design. Additionally it was a happening for exchange and networking.

Moabit shows flag! With cool music, graffiti and creative standing together against racism and discrimination heaps of artists participated at the “Anti Racism Jam 2023”, which took place on 31st March, April 1st and 2nd around the “Center for Art and Urbanism” (ZK/U). The event was organized by MARE, PHET and STEREOHEAT from the 21ER GALLERY and magnificent works of art were created on the three days at several spots.

Through her collaboration with PANDION and TRANSIT RÄUME, artist GITA KURDPOOR started in January 2023 as the first resident to design a former cab Showroom in the Prinzessinnenstrasse in Berlin Kreuzberg with her art. She has decided to exhibit her “Animal Collection” and to bring oversized on the walls. She made this decision in reference to Kreuzberg and its diversity. The exhibition will last until 30th of June 2023, possibly there will be an extension.

The first Ayia Napa Streetart Festival took place in 2012 and was launched by local creative master PAPARAZZI. After several years of grandiose events and spray sessions of DAS DRECKIGE DUTZEND, the first additional only femal writers jam took place on 3rd and 4th of September in 2022 at the local swimming pool in Babenhausen: The fantastic event AEROSOL QUEENS was born and is going to happen from now on annually. That means two fantastic jams every year! DD12 and AEROSOL QUEENS.

On March 5th, 8th and 9th on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, the great EQUAL JAM 2023 took place on the walls of the North Side Gallery with its second edition. More than 70 local urban artists painted, pinned, glued and sprayed on the subject of equality and created a huge and unique open-air gallery for Berlin on more than 1200 m². From 27th till 29th January in 2023 the fantastic art happening PINTURA GOURMET was held in Mar del Plata city, an urban art event with the participation of outstanding artists from the national urban art scene. The event took place at four points in the city, which you can verify with the provided GPS coordinates. The movement was organized by NAHUEL, a great artist from the local scene. Over four days in early December 2022, the North Side Gallery was colorfully redesigned under the theme “Armut X Reichtum”, which means in English “Poverty X Wealth”. More than 30 artists sprayed and painted grandiose works on the main wall on the West Part and on the wall on the East Part during December 1st, 3rd, 4th and 8th. Between 7th and 9th of October the colorful graffiti event „21 Jam Street“ was organized by the 21ER GALLERY and magnificent works of art were created over the three days on the large Concept Wall between Siemens Street and Erna Samuel Street and also on the facades of the Hambacher Wall, which is a new location at the corner of Erna Samuel Street and Siemens Street and managed by the 21 GALLERY. Graffiti culture dating back to 1984! NÆSTVED KUNSTBY is the result of a unique and self-organized graffiti tradition, which for more than 30 years has granted in the Danish city of Næstved a special status within the international scene. Hip hop and graffiti culture came to Europe and to Næstved more than 30 years ago. Since that time the city has continuously had several unofficial street galleries. For this reason Næstved has always had a regular flow of visiting graffiti artists from all over the world.
