The HOLA UTOPIA! festival took place for the fifth time in 2025 from August 25th to 31st, once again bringing many international, national, and local artists to the walls to beautify the streets. This year’s theme was “Worldwide” with the plan to practice an international culture of peace, love, and unity. Several works were created in the city area, but the main spot was around Andreas Hermes Platz and Raschplatz, especially in the long pedestrian underpass. An underground urban art gallery was created, with some of the works being added a little later after the festival. It was also planned to address train writing, and since officially painting trains isn’t feasible, a wooden carriage was constructed at the square with works by legendary graffiti visitors from New York. The event was supported again by HIP HOP KULTUR. And this year, also the additional edition of the festival took place for the second time in Braunschweig.
