ONE WALL – Spandau – Local Legends
This artwork was created as a PAINTING DHAKA project by the Berlin artist LUKAS ZEILINGER together with local young people from B18 and the youth agency OUTREACH. The project was supported by STIFTUNG BERLINER LEBEN and curated by URBAN NATION. The artist worked with disadvantaged youth and refugees in several graffiti workshops and spent almost half a year in the slums of the the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka. There the PAINTING DHAKA project together with the NGOs German Doctors and Amensty International was born and a movie got filmed which shows his work in the neighbourhood. After the photos of this spot in Staaken we added the trailer to the film which got shown on several festivals.
