After a long process, the GRAFFITI LOBBY BERLIN and the youth culture center DIE KLINKE were able to inaugurate a new Hall of Fame in Berlin’s Marzahn district in May 2021. The outer wall of the local fire station department was cleared for artistic designs and has been a legal hall ever since. The wall surface is around 4 meters high and around 30 meters long, ideal for graffiti jams and fantastic concept walls, which are created there again and again. The works in this creative space are usually masterpiece quality and well worth a visit. GRAFFITI LOBBY BERLIN: In 2019, we received a tip from the scene. It was about the facades of the fire department buildings in Marzahn. The space at Märkische Allee 181 was in the portfolio of BIM (Berliner Immobilien Management GmbH). In 2020, the lobby contacted the youth club „Die Klinke“ and the fire department. We now had a local cooperation partner and the fire department had nothing against our request to clear the wall for legal graffiti. The first contract with BIM was signed and ran until September 1st in 2021. The contract was extended in April 2022. In the meantime, many beautiful works of art have been created and the wall area is enjoying growing popularity. How to get to the wall: There is a fence in front of the actual wall for which you need a key. The key is deposited at the fire station. You report to the fire station and get the key.
