„Wind of Change“ – ANNA KAZAKOVA – CREATIVE PROJECT NEW

ANNA KAZAKOVA was born in Bratsk. The Siberian landscape shaped her early interest in light, space, and silence. She began her photographic practice working with film, which she approaches as a tool for recording states rather than events. In 2003, she moved to Moscow, where she studied at MGTU and worked in the financial sector. Since 2017, she has lived and worked in Berlin. In 2019, she completed a course in fine art photography. In 2020, she participated in an exhibition at OstPost following her studies at Dmitry Bulkin’s school. From 2024 to 2025, she was part of the Creative Project. In 2025, she participated in the group exhibition City (Berlin, June-August). In 2026, she took part in the group exhibition Styx within the framework of the Creative Project. Her practice focuses on the investigation of urban space and natural environment as interconnected systems. Her work addresses suspended time, the interaction of light and architecture, and the presence of the human figure within space. She considers photography as a means of registering the limit-state of an environment.

The works named „Wind of Change“ are a visual exploration of inner transformation, the invisible processes that shape us from within. The tree in this series is not simply a landscape element. It becomes a metaphor for the human experience: a moment of transition when the past is fading, the future has not yet formed, and we find ourselves between stability and change. The bending forms of the trees reflect the forces of life-time, circumstances, and experiences beyond our control. The wind remains unseen, yet it defines the movement of everything. It represents the constant flow of change that cannot be stopped, only accepted. Each work reveals a different stage of transformation: emergence, unfolding, release, and pause. This series is not about the changing seasons, but about the seasons within ourselves. It is about the courage to let go of what we once were and allow a new form of life to emerge.

Creative Project NEW is a curatorial collaboration where artists develop their own projects under the guidance of a curator. It is, first of all, a process of creating art: structured, focused, and intentional. At the same time, it is a strong support system within a group, where artists grow together, exchange experience, and challenge each other. Through this process, artists expand their artistic field, deepen their practice, and reach new creative horizons.

Caricatures in a world between euphoria and panic! The artist DEFEKT’s vibrantly colored images depict wildly distorted portraits. Inspired by comics, tribal art, and obscure B-movies, the works are created using acrylic paint, markers, and spray paint. The traces of the painting process remain visible and lend the works their raw and unpolished energy. With a series of circular emojis, DEFEKT is contributing to the HAPPY ART WEEK end of July 2026 at MINIMALISTIX in Berlin.

FRANK KIRCHNER, born and raised in Berlin-Neukölln, has been photographing primarily urban areas, diverse neighborhoods, and changing cityscapes since his youth. The discussion on the cityscape thus provides a welcome opportunity to document these changes and convey a sense of authenticity to the viewer. Beyond that, he sees streetart as an expression of social change and an integral part of consciously experiencing a city. Furthermore, social elements are also integral to his work, whether it involves photographing demonstrations or providing images for individuals or organizations. In addition to street photography, he also focuses on portraits and landscapes of northern Germany, as well as the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. Past exhibitions have included shows at 48h Neukölln, Art Kreuzberg, as well as in bars and art spaces. You can reach him via berlinfoto-frank@web.de.

„Space of Associations Project“ – JULIA SHEIN – CREATIVE PROJECT NEW

JULIA SHEIN was born in 1977 in Novosibirsk. Since 2022, she has been living and working in Germany. An artist working in the field of contemporary abstract art and Neurographica. In her artistic practice, she explores the interaction of line, form, and color as tools for visual expression of ideas, emotional states, and individual perception. In her works she uses techniques of graphic art, pencil drawing, and color exploration, investigating the possibilities of abstract composition, the rhythm of the line, and the visual language of form. Her artistic approach combines an intuitive process of image creation with a conscious search for new expressive solutions. She participates in artistic projects and exhibition initiatives, including Creative Project NEW. She continues to develop her artistic practice at the intersection of contemporary art, visual research, and personal creative experience.

Artworks Description: The series is created in the style of Neurographica – a contemporary art form in which line, shape, and color become an independent artistic language. The abstract compositions do not offer fixed meanings but create a space for personal associations, inner dialogue, and free interpretation. Exploring themes of abundance, movement, choice, and inner potential, the project examines how our perception of reality changes through attention, emotions, and ima- gination. Each artwork becomes a meeting point between the creation and the viewer, where personal experience gives rise to new meanings, and art transforms into a space of reflection, inspiration, and personal discovery.

Some words from the artist: „I like to observe and collect objects that are discarded because they awaken my creativity and imagination, provoking deep reflec- tions about the community that lives there, what it consumes, what it cares for, from the garbage it produces. I offer myself as an instrument for the transformation and reframing of this mate- rial that is no longer useful, a channel to relive and tell its story, through my art. That is how I communicate with the world, with my own dialect that I call „Kleberês“, my way of talking about the things that dis- turb or enchant me: I don’t really understand the universe of words or numbers, that’s why I use my art- language to access a space without time, where I can play however I want, without barriers or borders. In this place I feel in my body the light that lies in everything, in eve- ryone, a dip into nothingness. A living inspiration in some part of the universe decides to be born right here, in me. Right now I’m a brush, color, art and artist, all together making room for the idea to take shape. I dance in the emotion of those who know nothing, but feel everything. Focused on the process, I let my body free to tell the images of the ancestral stories that come to me like breaths in my ears. Here I exist – I belong – I am art. – KLEBER CIANNI

„Abstract City“ – OLGA TARABUKINA – CREATIVE PROJECT NEW

My name is OLGA TARABUKINA. I am the founder and curator of CREATIVE PROJECT NEW. This project was created to support artists on their path toward growth, visibility. and professional development. As a curator, I have extensive experience in the European art field. My background includes working as a creative and art director, filmmaker, writer, fashion designer, street artist, and painter. However, today my primary focus is on art photography. CREATIVE PROJECT NEW is a space for collaboration, artistic growth, and long-term creative development. Follow us and support the artists and who knows, in the future, you might become a part of us, too!

Project Description: „Abstract City“ explores the possibility of abstraction within photography. Rather than documenting architecture or urban space, the project reveals abstract structures that already exist in reality. Through perspective, framing, light, movement, and color, familiar environments are trans- formed into autonomous visual compositions in which buildings lose their descriptive function and become relationships of line, geometry, rhythm, and balance. The series continues a dialogue with the visual language of Constructivism and Suprematism, translating their search for essential form into the photographic medium. Unlike painting, however, these images are not construc- ted from imagination. Every composition originates in the real world. Abstraction is not invented but discovered within existing space. By reducing recognizable objects to their formal qualities, Abstract City challenges photography’s traditional docu- mentary role and proposes another way of seeing, one in which reality becomes the material for visual thought rather than mere representation. Abstraction is not separate from the world around us, but already embedded within it, waiting to be perceived.

Born and raised in Berlin in 1995, he was introduced to graffiti at an early age by a classmate and began painting himself at around age 13 – first on paper, later with markers and spray cans. After a phase of creating classic lettering, his focus shifted to figures and portraits, which led him to work with stencils. Since 2025, he has been working under the name RISE; his “trademark” is a red R inside a circle. Today, his hand-cut stencils are based on his own photographs of people from his personal circle, so that each work depicts real people he knows. His street art has an international presence and can be found in numerous European cities. In 2023, he attracted a great deal of attention in Denmark when bunkers he had painted were mistakenly identified as works by the artist “Banksy.” This led to extensive media coverage.

ROMANESCO ONE, born in Zurich in 1984, is an independent painter and muralist who has gained international recognition since 2004 for his colorful works. He skillfully combines techniques such as spray paint, acrylics, fluid art, stencil art, and screen printing to blend vibrant, cheerful colors with subtle, socially critical motifs. His art primarily reflects his deep love for nature and animals, while also offering a critical examination of social dynamics, consumer behavior, and the displacement of nature from urban areas. With his large-scale murals, he brings color to gray cities and creates positive atmospheres in the spaces he transforms through his artwork.
