It used to be a pleasant walk through the countryside along the railroad. Yes, there are the tracks, but with plants on both sides and a path winding through a bit of nature. As part of the expansion of the S6 commuter rail line in 2025, huge noise barriers were erected. On the one hand, they block out the noise from the trains, which is good, but on the other hand, they’re just hideous and make you feel like you’re walking past a prison block. Luckily, there are artists and creative people who bring a little more color to the scene. And especially here something really interesting has emerged. It all started with a few stickers. First two, then ten, and now there are over 1.000 around and it’s still growing. Step by step passersby have added all sorts of things, turning it into a colorful collage. And the great fact about stickers is: there’s always a story behind every one- Like a project, a team, an artist, a collective, an event, or whatever. So it also became a huge information board showcasing cool stuff.
