„Von Augen und Gesichtern“  –  „Of Eyes and Faces“

The artist KRISTINA SUVOROVA, also known as KRISTINA SUPERNOVA, originally comes from the Lithuanian city of Rietavas. From 2014, she lived in Frankfurt for several years and now has a studio in Berlin. In 2021, she created this beautiful mural titled „Von Augen und Gesichtern“, or in English „Of Eyes and Faces“, on the building housing the SCHIERKE SEINECKE gallery and its offshoot RUNDGÄNGER. When you admiring the mural, it is definitely recommended to have a visit to the current exhibitions there. As the name of the huge artwork suggests, the large building facade depicts many faces with numerous eyes, painted in a simple, almost childlike style reminiscent of the cryptic Brazilian pixação, but more humorous and whimsical.
