Historic Collection of Deutsche Bahn AG
The completed main station in Frankfurt am Main with its three large platform halls in 1888. The station was opened on August 18 of that year as “Centralbahnhof Frankfurt” and was the largest in Europe at the time.

In the 1950s, new intermediate levels and extensions were added.
