“Le Voyeur” – “KAISER KARTEL Love Shop”
SVEN UWE KAISER was born in 1987 in Frankfurt (Oder) in the former GDR. His father introduced him to art at a young age. He later discovered the medium of spray cans, became part of the Berlin graffiti scene and from then on worked on his own style between street and gallery. In the following years he realized collaborations with international artists worldwide. He is inspired by artists like KEITH HARING and DAVID MOCKNEY. Today, his work encompasses various media and surfaces, but he still prefers to design large-format facades in urban spaces. – Kunsttage
KARTEL or KARTELOVIC is an artist who explores the interplay of nostalgia and the present in his works. He draws inspiration from historical everyday objects, artifacts and memorabilia, crossing the boundaries between traditional craftsmanship and digital design. His minimalist, semi-abstract compositions are characterized by balanced visual compositions of recurring color harmonies and create a strong recognition value. Through his art, he vividly shows the change and loss of tradition and craftsmanship. By using digital techniques, he opens up new possibilities for depicting and interpreting historical motifs. His works reflect the loss of tradition and encourage a profound examination of the past and present. – Kunsttage
