The HOLA UTOPIA! urban art festival is actually based in Hannover and enriches the city every year with many great works. There in 2024 it took place from August 19th to 25th, but also for the first time as an offshoot in the city of Braunschweig, around 70 km to the east. From September 16th to 22nd, local and international artists painted Braunschweig’s city facades with colorful murals and wall paintings. In addition, workshops and creative activities were offered and the opportunity to actively participate in art. And of course excited visitors were able to observe the creation of the works. The event was organized by the team of HOLA UTOPIA! and the HIP HOP KULTUR e.V. with the support of the MAGNI KIOSK and CHRIS RANK from the CAFE RIPTIDE. From now on this happening will also take place here in Braunschweig every year in addition to the main event in Hannover. Below are the works at four locations, Wendenstrasse 38b, Alte Schwert 21, An den Gärtnerhöfen 5a and around the area of the Martha Fuchs School at Kastanienallee 71. For the other urban artworks and murals around the city there is a separate page, and there are also individual pages for the two Graffiti Halls of Fame, the Westbahnhof Hall and the Skate Park Hall.

BONA BERLIN
BONA_BERLIN created this great mural and at the same time immortalized herself with a beautiful piece at the Hall Skatepark Westbahnhof; a high-class location in northern Germany. Unfortunately, some philistine painted over the beautiful work shortly afterwards – maybe not knowing well who the author was. The photos of that artwork will follow on the hall page.
