In the Westliches Ringgebiet district there is the Skatepark Westbahnhof on Münchenstrasse with an adjacent Hall of Fame for legal painting of graffiti and streetart. This Hall of Fame is definitely a potential top spot! Although the current photos don’t show the best pieces which you can find there. Usually this spot is a real surprise, it can happen that you can’t stop being amazed. Can happen, but not always. Approximately 50-70% are good to above average works, but the others can just take your breath away. True masters and kings are at work here from time to time. Some are also active in Hildesheim. The Skatepark Westbahnhof Hall consists of an approximately 150 meters long, partly up to 6 meters high, smooth exposed concrete wall, as well as two approximately 10 meters wide areas in the covered area of the skate park. There is hardly a free area here that hasn’t been sprayed, tagged or bombed with stickers. The hall can be reached by tram line 5 from Braunschweig main station after about 20 minutes and from the “Am Jödebrunnen” station after another 5 minutes on foot. On the way there you pass the Hall of Fame at Westbahnhofstreet around the underpass area at the bridge of Münchenstrasse. On the steps of the stairs to Münchenstrasse you can see a sprayed “stair mosaic” by PINKY PONKO, who usually presents himself with stickers. – Irxnschmoiz
