Tribute to Eintracht Frankfurt

The new artwork from August 2025 at the Kunna garden center can be seen from afar and immediately reveals that the business is a big Eintracht Frankfurt soccer fan. Two eagles in white on a black background adorn the rounded tank structure covering an area of over 120 m², one in the Eintracht emblem, the other based on the coat of arms of the city of Frankfurt.

The idea came during a visit to the restaurant „Zur Erholung“ in Nieder-Erlenbach, which has an extensive SGE mural in its courtyard commemorating the cup victory in 2018. The Kunna family has a strong connection to Eintracht, as the uncle of garden center owner Albert Kunna was the legendary soccer player Dieter Lindner, who won the first German championship with Eintracht in 1959.

„That’s why we are fans through and through and carry Eintracht in our hearts. With the mural, we also wanted to create a memorial to Dieter Lindner, who died in 2024”, says owner Bärbel Kunna. The artists from BLACKOUT GRAFFITI also wrote that they were “immediately fire and flame” for the project.
