Urban Art Biennale 2024 – „Castelli in Voelklingen“
The Italian artist MATTEO FLUIDO, or sometimes just FLUIDO, lives and works in Genoa. You may also know his graffiti under his name ZERO. For the Biennale in 2024, he has created a minimalist graphic-geometric mural in black and white entitled „Castelli in Voelklingen“. „Castelli“ is the Italian word for „castles“ and on the steelworks site, you can also imagine a backdrop of castles and fortresses with towers in the scenery of chimneys and industrial buildings. In addition, smaller framed pictures were shown with baroque castles combined with deep black architectural elements of the Völklingen ironworks complex.
