In 2022 on 10th and 11th of September the awesome urban art event DAS DRECKIGE DUTZEND, or in English THE DIRTY DOZEN, took place at the location Schmickstraße for the third time, altogether it was the 9th spray session. The fantastic jam started in 2017 and brought numerous colorful creations into the city. This time more than 60 artists designed not only the walls of the companies Mandausch and Reißwolf for the second time, but also the front of the high-bay warehouse of the company Contargo for the first time. In total, 230 meters of facade were released for creative painting. As well a part of one of the industrial buildings was declared as a permanent legal spray wall due to the event. Tribute to jam organizer AMBER
This artwork shows the lettering AMBER and an eye close up. It was made as a tribute to the Dirty Dozen event organizer NICLAS HATWIG aka AMBER by the artists ME ONE, BASCO, DEJOE, KRON, ENTE and AMBER himself.
Schwedlerweg – New Legal Spray Wall ! – Legalized during the event!
Next to the main building, a small path leads along, graffiti has been sprayed there again and again for years. The owners of the companies and the warehouses have liked the grandiose works of art created especialy by the recent events very much and since autumn 2022 there is now an official permission on the wall around the corner at Schmickstraße 21 to spray legally.
