The Universe of Lehe – Part 1
The “Universe of Lehe” is located in the Goethe Quarter on the corner of Potsdamer Street and Eupener Street and consists of two huge wallpaintings. This large-scale mural at Eupener 11 was created by the Bremerhaven artists SVEN WILLMS aka SIFOE ROCK and PETER DOMKE aka SIR MONK. Since mid-2013, the painted children of the two creators have been surfing through the infinite expanses of the galaxy on the gable wall of the neighboring house, which was exposed during the demolition. To match the scenario, another mural by CHRISTIAN ARETZ was created on the opposite gable wall in June 2014 as part of the “Young Visions in Motion” exhibition for the GOETHE 45 gallery. Seen together, the two wall paintings are something like the “Leher Universe”. – ESG Lehe
