The fantastic graffiti jam SUMMA MADNEZZ took place again at the Fischereihafen quarter in Bremerhaven for the 14th time, and like always an astonishing collab wall got created. The 400-meter-long façade of a former shipbuilding yard gets decorated every year during this happening with awesome masterpieces. More than 50 artists collaborated with several themes at beginning of September, one of them was „Four Elements“. So the four pillars of Hip Hop, which are Rap or MCing, DJing, B-Boying or Breakdance and Graffiti-Writing. Check out the fantastic artworks!

The Těšnov Hall of Fame is located in the Florenc district along the park of the same name and on the bridge to Wilsonova Street. It is a spacious area with several walls and bridge pillars, doing art here is allowed and legal. You can always find people painting, there are spray sessions and graffiti jams. On August 31st in 2024, the great UNYFEST also took place around the area with numerous urban artists and a fantastic line-up of various musicians from the hip hop scene.

On November 28th in 2024 the exhibition „Borrowed Times“ with great works by the artist ABDUL VAS opened with a beautiful vernissage at the Madrid gallery E CIENTO VEINTE. His works can be admired in the art space at Calle Antonio Maura 18 until February 8th in 2025. For ABDUL VAS, the overwhelming power of AC/DC’s music has displaced linear and routine time. He has decided to portray a set of writers who inhabit a dimension, where delicacy and loyalty to aesthetics intertwine, with the greatness of music from a time lent by eternity. Kocherinovo is a small town in western Bulgaria in the Kyustendil Oblast with around 2000 inhabitants. Time runs differently here and you can immerse yourself in various scrap metal shops in town. There is a hodgepodge of stuff here, it’s almost like a small historical and nostalgic museum.

HOLA UTOPIA! is an international hip hop and streetart festival in Hannover that transforms the city into a space of debate and promotion of progressive values. The socio-cultural festival encourages all Hannoverians to share their ideas for the future of their city during workshops. Leading German and international street artists then implement them into the design of large-scale artworks. Involved in the event is also the HIP HOP KULTUR e.V. and since 2024 the event also takes place in the city of Braunschweig.

The HOLA UTOPIA! urban art festival is actually based in Hannover and enriches the city every year with many great works. There in 2024 it took place from August 19th to 25th, but also for the first time as an offshoot in the city of Braunschweig, around 70 km to the east. From September 16th to 22nd, local and international artists painted Braunschweig’s city facades with colorful murals and wall paintings. Check out the great artworks!

The small town of Shumen is located in the north-east of the country and has around 9700 inhabitants. It may be a small town, but an important and artistically impressive memorandum was erected here in 1981. A huge sculputer complex in honor of „1300 years of Bulgaria“ or also titled „Founder of the Bulgarian State“. The oversized monument in a cubic construction was erected on a plateau above the city and designed by the Bulgarian sculptors KRUM DAMYANOV and IVAN SLAVOV.

Around 188,000 residents live in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, but the entire metropolitan region comprises around 1.2 million people. There is of course plenty to see, great art and culture, and also urban art. Especially the Comic Book Route shows a collection of murals with famous comic characters and scenes, also during the festivals BALKAN TRAFIK or LA BELLE HIP HOP several great artworks were made. In terms of architecture from older times, you should take a look at the Royal Palace, in contrast to the Atomium as a monument to progress and a remnant of the 1958 World Expo. The Grote Markt is certainly stylish and sublime again, as is the small, roguish Manneken Pis, a urinating landmark of the city that makes you smile.

One of the hot spots and most important graffiti halls in Heidelberg is located under the Ernst Walz Bridge, where there is also a skate park. The bridge section on the north bank of the Neckar river has been declared a legal graffiti space and you can regularly find countless great graffiti here. The whole area around is overall a creative place because cultural, artistic and musical events take place here time by time, it is one of the NECKAR ORTE. Check out the great urban artworks on the walls, also the painted fishing boat, colourful trailors and even the toilets have their own style.
